Are there any item(s) that you didnt bring with you on vacation & wish you had!?

The first time we went with our daughter we went in Feb and it was unusually COLD that year. All I had was sweatshirts but wished I'd brought a fleece or more layers. Our last day in the parks we had super early reservations at Crystal Palace and we froze our butts off waiting for them to let us in. Now I ALWAYS pack layers I don't think we'll need just in case. I also check the weather for a week or so before we go rather than trusting my husband ;) This time we're going in May so even though it should be hot I'm still going to make sure to pack everyone at least one extra pair of pants and a sweatshirt. JUST. IN. CASE! :thumbsup2

Stuff to treat blisters with -bandaids, moleskin, etc.

No matter which shoes I wear I inevitably end up with blisters.

I'd buy some cheap (and light) rain ponchos to throw in your backpack. And an empty bottle for water to get from the water fountains.

We always try to bring two pairs of tennis shoes just in case they get soaked on a ride like Kali River Rapids or if it happens to rain for a long period of time, you'll have that extra dry pair for later that day or the next day if your original pair isn't dry in time!

We also always bring snacks like peanut butter crackers! That way you're not having to buy Disney food every time you want a little snack.

More lightweight long sleeve/pant type pj's for the kids-but we traveled last Dec.. And I wish I had ordered even more fruit than I did from Garden Grocer's.

After a few trips I started a long list of must haves.
Bug spray wipes, sunscreen sticks(easier for little faces and ears), moleskin for blisters, crystal lights for water fountain water(yuck), phone charger sticks, large leaf trash bag for stroller(to keep dry while in shows), glow sticks for parades(wee ones don't like dark), hard candies for long waits, extra clicky sharpie for autograph book. I'm sure I could do twenty more!!! Love overpacking :).

Pepto bismol. I had never needed it before...like, at all, and my [then] boyfriend, who LOVES rides, some how ended up with an upset stomach after Star Tours. We tried several remedies, but finally had to give in and buy pepto from our resort. And it was way expensive! Won't go without it now. (If you've never used it, it really doed make you feel better instantly.)

A laundry bag or big garbage bag for dirty clothes in hotel room! There want enough drawer space to completely unpack one suitcase, so I had our dirty clothes in a pile in corner of room and drove me nuts!

Another tip that I heard prior to our last trip was to bring ziplock type baggies...this was so helpful! I used them to protect cell phones from getting wet, packing snacks, taking leftovers when kids fell asleep at meals etc! Highly recommend throwing in several of those!

the major one from first trip, a power strip for all the chargers in the evening. others as others have said large trash bags for dirty clothes, Ziploc bags in quart and galloon sizes to put change of clothes for kids in parks and to put cell phones and the like for water rides or soaking rains of summer and at least 2 extra pairs of shoes again in case of water rides or soaking rains. nothing worse than getting up in morning to find shoes still wet inside even though outside is dry

My hydroflask to keep water cold! I brought my sons school lunchbox thermos and loved how cold it kept the water, but we went through it so quickly.
