Things You Forgot for TRIP

Im starting to get ready for a trip in September. I know its a good ways away, but want to make sure everything is planned. Not going crazy with anything, just dont want to forget anything.

"What is something you forgot that would have made the trip better for you or your family?"

I am a big planner, and I start my packing lists months out....so I can't think of anything that I've ever forgotten.....but there's a LOT that I wished I hadn't taken...sorry I can't be of any help.

not a big deal, but I forgot everything I had planned to do for laundry (was that a mental block or something???)

since we have to change resorts, I had planned to bring our pop-up hamper (so we wouldn't have to throw dirty clothes in with clean ones for the move). And I also forgot to bring the samples of laundry soap I had collected - I had to buy laundry soap there, which is pricey.

But more important, I forgot to put those things on the packing list - just a master list we use for every trip. I find if I keep that habit, everything I need gets to where I'm going.

I forgot a hat once...but there were plenty to purchase around WDW so it wasn't that big of a deal. I would have to say the #1 item to bring on my packing list is a camelback.

I see so many people lugging around backpacks and water bottles, or buying $5 water from the vendors. We fill our camelbacks up with ice water in the morning, it keeps us cool throughout the day and when we need a refill we stop by and order a couple of free glasses of ice water from quick service locations.

Saves money, keeps us cool, hydrates us, and gives us a place to store things. Win Win Win.
