I can't wait to make one of these cans, but I just can't decide who to make it for. I think I will start with my dd's. Theirs would be easy to fill. Then I was thinking of making one for my friends dd who is almost 16-maybe fill it with lotions and bath type stuff.

The website you listed has some really great ideas. Personally, I would like to receive the "scrappin can". Now that I type that, I realize that would be a good idea for my dd's also, as they both scrapbook.

I though it would be fun to do the movie cans for teachers or "family gifts". For Christmas, we buy nieces and nephews presents and then usually get get something in the $25 range for each family.

Looking forward to hearing others ideas on how they are filling their cans. Many thanks to whoever first posted about paint cans on the other thread.

I'm making them for a neice and nehpews bday next month. My nephews I'm just putting a CD in it but decorating it with soccer paper. My neice I'm filling it with craft supplies and decorating the bucket to match her room.

I'm making 4 for my DD and DS teachers and in each one I'm having stationary made for them and adding some tastfully simple treats. Maybe the beer bread and a seasoning packet. My DS teacher classroon is decorated with bumble bees so her bucket is going to be yellow and black strips.

Yesterday I measeured and made a template of heavy cardstock. So now I only have to trace the template on the my paper of choice and glue. I used my CM cricle punch and then just cut a small slit in the side to wrap around the can.

Baseball....for kids and adults alike.

You can decorate the outside with baseball cards, newspaper clippings, or just anything sports.

We're lucky enough to have a minor league team real close by and tickets are cheap.

I am so excited about this idea of paint cans. Oh boy!!!

Fill it with all the yu gi oh cards you will buy for christmas anyway.
Plus some of the little figurines or models of the yu gi oh people.

or how about Lego's

You could put lots of the litte lego sets inside the can. And decorating it would be a riot.

Or how about Barbie,

My father is a fisherman so I love the fishing ideas.
