What rides/meet and greets should we run to/get FP's for first thing every morning? I know about the Elsa/Anna M&G and Radiator Springs, what else? I want to be prepared :)

In depends on what you want to do...I would actually recommend going to TSMM first, then getting an RSR FP (assuming this is not an EMH morning in DCA). TSMM does not have FPs and that line tends to build and stay long throughout the day. Other than RSR, I don't think very many of the DCA FP tend to run out early in the day. My usual morning in DCA starts with TSMM and then head to get RSR FPs and WoC FP (if you plan to see that show). After that, it's usually on to Little Mermaid or Soarin' depending on the day. Also depending on the length of the line, we may get in a ride on CA Screamin' before heading to get RSR FP.

In DLR, A&E Return Tickets are probably the hardest thing to get. They run out fairly early in the day and you have to get one if you want to meet them (no standby line). From the sounds of it, Baymax and Hiro also have a fairly long line (not FP or Return Tickets). For FP, I would probably concentrate on either Indy or Space.

The previous post stole my DCA thunder...that is our plan each and every trip as we don't do ToT.

In DL Alice and Peter Pan don't have FP and seem to build quite a wait by late morning, so if they are on your list (and they should be at any age...) I'd recommend them early in the morning or during a EMH/MM.

At DCA:
TSMM
RSR

At DL:
A&E M&G
Peter Pan - no FP
Dumbo - no FP
Matterhorn - no FP
Nemo - no FP
Astro - no FP

I'm basically listing the rides that builds line up quickly at DL without any FP.
Space Mountain, BTMRR, Splash, HM and such are great but you can work them into your FP schedule.

PP gets full as soon as the gate opens
Dumbo and Storybook are very slow moving line.
Matterhorn and Astro are EMPTY the first thing in the morning. But it builds up line within 1hr of opening.
Nemo is another slow moving line.

So depending on how many days you have and what you want to ride I would do the non FP ones first thing in the morning.

If you're there during the holidays, Jingle Cruise gets backed up and Holiday HM as well.

Have fun!

What if you are going to DCA for EMH? We'll have one day at DCA and my plan was to get to the main gates 30 mins before park opening, go ride RSR first and then hit Toy Story and ToT.

I would think if you are early enough, and 30 mins before opening for EMH should be, that you will be able to do RSR and get to TSMM before the general park opening.

We did RSR on one of our EMH days but were in the park about 20 mins after opening (it was a 7am EMH), the RSR line was about 45 minutes by then. We still did RSR, but on the other EMH days we went to Paradise Pier and rode TSMM multiple times, I did Screamin' a couple of times, then went to get FPs fir RSR once the park opened to all.

Great, thanks for the info. Looking forward to our first trip to DL in about 15 years.
