What things have people given to guest services to have signed by the characters? Can we only have either the princesses OR Mickey and friends sign something? And is there still a 2-object limit per stateroom?
Thanks :)

The limit is 2 items per room. Only exception I've read about was where there were 3 children in one room, they allowed 3 items.

You can indicate on the signature request form whether you want Mickey and friends, or Princesses, or all characters.

Last year we used pillow cases. This year I'm thinking of using those bigger children's treasury books (a princess one for my daughter and a Toy Story one for my son).

Here are on the characters from the Fantasy....

One of our best souvenir....

Has anyone ever had their Castaway Club gift (tote bag) signed? I was looking at the new white ones with the rope handles and thought it might be cool to have it signed. Thought?

Great idea on the plate... I love it!

Two questions - where did you get the plate and secondly is the marker just a black sharoie or another special type of marker?

Thanks!

On our June cruise this year (Magic), we were categorically told that we could have either the Fab Five or the Princesses. I had 2 pillowcases to sign, so had them tick a box for each .. When they came back to us, both had all of the characters on.
Next month, I'm going to do the same if I'm told I can have one or the other.

The plate is usually available online at the Disney Store. At WDW, we bought ours at Mickeys Pantry at DTD. A Sharpie works best on the plates.

We have done the plate, pillow cases, and a picture frame. We also used various colors of sharpies. Remember to bring sharpies Ina zip lock bag, as it is helpful to have for these signings.

If you're anywhere near DTD, Mickeys Pantry and World of Disney often have the plates too.

We are going to cocoa beach with a rental car preship.. Disney is after. Are there any shops near orlando airport or port can acetal that have the plates does anybody think?

I don't recall seeing plates at the airport, but it's worth a try. Maybe you can find something else in that same vein to have autographed.

The Black & White plate is sold out, but they do have the Blue & White plate:

http://www.disneystore.com/gourmet-mickey-mouse-dinner-plate-white/blue/mp/1355452/1000349/

if you do order the plate, please make sure you order the single plate, and not the whole set.

It was a sharpie that had a regular tip & a fine tip.

When the plate comes, it is already set for packing....so no worries when you pack it in your luggage, or just carry it on.

Hope this helps

Pillowcases! Easy to transport. Not breakable. And frameable!

As soon as the shops opened on the Fantasy last summer I bought a Tee Shirt and a picture frame with a lot of open area to sign and went straight to guest services.

We had every character sign the Tee and Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, daisy, and Goofy signed the frame.

I got a ceramic piggy bank from one of those big chain craft stores, and a Sharpie brand PAINT MARKER (that's very important !) for signing.

I asked Mickey to autograph one side, and on the other side write "see ya real soon." It encourages me to save my pennies for my next trip !
