Hi! I'm doing a university project, and am looking for places to visit and things to do in London and Edinburgh when the weather is bad.

TIA! :)

I don't have any ideas for Edinburgh but there is loads to do in London, as Nat says there are the museums and also the wax works, the planetarium, Harrods and the theatres :goodvibes

Let's be honest most of London's attractions are do-able in the rain - they have to be.

Museums (V&A, Natural History, Science, British Museum, London Transport)
Art Galleries (National, National Portrait, Tate Britain, Tate Modern)
Shopping
Ripley's (in Leicester Square)
Madame Tussauds (I don't think the planetarium exists any more)
Cathedrals (St. Paul's, Westminster, Westminster Abbey)
London Zoo - large parts here are covered
Theatres
Resaurants
Covent Garden (shops, cafes, market stalls)

LOL--I've been to London 3 different times, and it didn't rain once on any of my trips! I always wondered where the rainy reputation came from.:goodvibes

Edinburgh has the following indoor museums for free

hbos museum on the mound where you can see £1million
a museum of childhood on the high street (take a trip down memory lane)
a heritage museum and a science museum (check nms dot ac dot uk for details)

and one i've never been in but is on the list for my next visit the writers museum on lady's stair close

If its nice check out Grey friars Bobby

and if you are interested and have some cash Holyrood house is well worth a visit
