Things to do by myself?

Hey guys, myself and the family are going to Disney/Universal for the 5th at the end of August for 2 weeks! I'm kind of in the planning phase now of what I'd like to do by myself, as much as I love my family there are little kids that I have to take care of and silly arguments I have to break up etc.

I'm 17 and we'll be staying in Disney's Saratoga Springs, I don't know a lot about Orlando but I've done everything got to do with the parks so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do away from the parks/away from the family? Hopefully I'll get some replies!

If I need to get away from my family, I'll either spend the day at the pool while they go to the park, or I'll head off to Downtown Disney and wander around.

Never even thought about the pool actually, we've always gone when it's been too cold for the pool so this tim will be different I hope! Thanks for your suggestions ^^
