You can't go straight from a park to DTD.
Anyone else?

We forget to take it easy with the schedule. I plan and plan in advance, but still push it every single time. It's just so difficult to be there and not make the most of every second.

That there is more than one monorail line.

We've been to WDW more times than I can count and somehow almost every trip I end up on the wrong monorail for where I'm trying to go.

I blame the magic, it takes away a lot of my common sense! :earsboy:

Haha! Glad to hear that I'm not the only one that forgets that EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! For this next trip, I actually put a little note on my schedule to remind me!

Can't you?!
Oooh dear... how you get there then?

You need to either hop WDW transport to a resort, then take transport from there to DTD, or if it's during daylight you can take transport to SSR and walk to DTD.

Brandy... I live probably 5 miles from you. It's nice to know there's neighbors on the board.

These are awesome!

No straws at AK. I always end up spending a couple of minutes looking before I figure it out. Lids? Are there lids for the drinks at AK? I'm not even there yet, and I can't remember.

Oh yes, the straws (or lack thereof). I'd forgotten about that. My trip's not for another month, so I'll have time to forget about it again.

Definately the lack of straws at AK! I have sensitive teeth and when I drink from the cup with lots of ice it hurts. It always takes me a few minutes before I realize why I can't find them. Hopefully this time I'll remember to sneak one in with me..J/K

this always happens to us!!! I just can't stand to be in the hotel room with the Magic Kingdom right there!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always forget that you cannot drive directly to MK. You always have to park at the ticket and trans center. I always think we will get there faster by driving.........wrong!

Scarily enough - my last trip, I forgot the date... and the day.
Worse I had to ask 3 different people because the first two couldn't remember either. I have never forgotten the day in my life...

Now that's a vacation. :cool1:

We have ridden all the rides and we always say that we will go to WDW for the MAGIC. Just walk around, enjoy the atmosphere, take in the landscaping of the parks, and EAT. But every time when we get there, we want to get on all the rides (even the ones we don't enjoy) just to say that we did it all.

This time will be different!! We will be on our honeymoon and I vow to take it easy!! After all, we are already planning on coming back the following Sept. :goodvibes

Saying you will take it easy and actually doing it when the magic hits...well those are two totally different things. Good Luck

Just got back last week from our trip to WDW! We had a blast but I did forget to take it easy the first day. I felt it the next day in my feet and back. Luckily it was our "off" day to relax.

Seems like we always plan on taking the boat from OKW to DTD, but we never seem to have the time to. Maybe this time.....

Oh, and we always pack glow bracelets and glow sticks (that we got at the dollar store) for DS, but we always forget to bring them to MK and then kick ourselves when the flashy cart selling them goes by and he goes ballistic!

totally agree with that! we became dvc members last year and the first trip that our 2 year old went on, we said over and over, "we've ridden the rides and been to disney already so we're going to take it easy and not push the kids" of course we had to push them to get to early entry then we had to go to the park at night because we are at disney!! maybe this time (november) we'll learn to chill!
