Things I Hated About.

I haven't even read the books, so I'm at a big advantage, I guess. :rotfl:

If you've seen the movies, and haven't read the books, you're missing out on a lot.
The fifth book, contains some very important information regarding that prophecy, which about 1/10 of it is in the movie, for like 20 seconds.

this movie was made for those who've read the book. there was a ton of stuff stuck in there that you just don't get.

I don't think I'd even watch the movies if I hadn't read the books.

I went to watch it and when this girl who was really scared of the Death eater keep kicking my chair. It was annoying!

don't name the movie after a book it its not like the book my friend and i came up with the idea of oa harry potter t v show wich each show would be based on the chaapter in a book though i loved the movie it bothered me that the longes book was shorter in time lenght that the first 200 supten pages

Why do I not say it was fantastic, why do I not praise it?
Because I didn't like it.
Because I didn't think it does the book justice.
I've seen plenty of OMG IT WAS AMAZING threads.
Go on any or most forums, and you'll find some.
I'm loyal to the true, plot line, with all the facts. I just don't like movies that were books first.

I love the actress who played Luna, she was good.
And I loved the patronus scene, the rabbit and otter were beautiful.

Sorry to bump an older thread, but I agree with most of what you say. My biggest pet peeve was that they changed the way Sirius dies..he falls through and they do NOT use Avada Kedavra. That is just so uneccesary. The idea behind the veil is that your heart can connect you to lost loved ones, and all of that was missed in the movie.

They also didnt put in the swamp that would get bigger everytime you tried to get rid of it

the parts of the book they did put in the movie were good but i was dissapointed at how much wasnt in the movie.

I think that Dolores really killed the movie, it seemed like she wasted the most time with her rules being put up and classes.

I didn't like the fact that they were all able to conjor up a patronus. That is one of the things that is supposed to make Harry special, and yet all the students in the DA were able to do it?:confused3

what I don't get is they assume people have read the books, so they leave stuff out, yet the seem to overexplain some other things

I also did not like the fight scene between the kids and the death eaters. I was especially disapointed in the fight since it is Sirius and Beatrix (sp?) battling the whole time- That being said, I did REALLY enjoy the fight scene between Voldermort and Dumbledore

I was also upset they cut the final scene of Harry and Dumbledore talking, that was one of my favorite scenes in the book

On the patronus thing, I think JK told the director, what all of their patronuses are.
Because in the seventh book, they're all the same as they were in the movie (minus Ginny, because she never produced one)

people said this movie was supposed to be more darker than the other films.
was that true? by darker I mean more evil.
