Three of my friends and I are leaving the husbands and children behind for a long weekend at WDW. (We'll miss them of course...) I've been nominated as the official coordinator, so I'm looking for things for us to do -- any ideas are appreciated!

We're planning to go to Cirque, no one really wanted to take the time for a spa day (to my dismay!), so otherwise we haven't planned too much.

Any suggestions?

I'm just starting to plan a "girls only" trip for next June or July. It will be all females from my family (9) and my husband's family (3). We're DVC members so I've offered to "pay" for the rooms. We'll have from age 7 to 77!! I thought it would be fun to do high tea at The Grand Floridian one day. My two nieces will both be 7. I think they will really get a kick out of the tea. I'm sure we'll split up into smaller groups and do a variety of things. My MIL has some trouble walking, so I'm thinking she'll spend some time enjoying the resort (either VWL or BWV). The younger, more adventurous ones (myself included!!) will surely hit the water parks and Pleasure Island a few times. I've always wanted to "drink around the world" at Epcot. Maybe this would be the time to do it with all five of my sisters along!! Have fun planning your trip. I'm already excited about planning this one and we're doing the 7 day DCL western and then 9 days at WDW in 5 months!

hi:wave:
i have also got the job of planning something for us girls to do::yes:: there are 11 of going altogether(3 families)altough it is only for one day as our dh's are taking themselfs and the kids off to space kennedy for the day which give us time to ourselfs:D and with so much to do at disney i just don't know where to start:earseek:

thanks eve:D

My mom and I did a "girls only" Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian. We took the monorail over from MK and had a lovely afternoon together and we really enjoyed it. It was a nice break from theme park touring too!

Afternoon Tea sounds like a great idea -- I had forgotten all about that! Jellyrolls is definitely on our list and probably DisneyQuest. I think some of the virtual reality games will be a blast. (Or at least we'll use that as our excuse to get to the Cheesecake Factory!)

Good luck to everyone planning their trips -- keep us posted if you come up with any great ideas!

We're leaving for our 3rd "girls only" trip on 9 days:hyper: and here's what I'd recommend:
Tea at the GF is a MUST
Possibly plan a spa treatment at the GF while you're there
ride the monorail and shop at the resorts
shop EVERY store in Epcot without DH getting bored.

But, most of all, relax and enjoy yourself
