They Switched Me - BCV to BWV

I had ressies for 2 BR BCV. When the FTP came out I called and switched it to the FTP. I get my confirmation in the mail and it says Boardwalk NOT Beach Club. I called back and they said FTP NOT available for the 2 BR BCV. I had to make a decision to go back to the orginial ressie at the BC or save A LOT of money and keep the new BWV ressie. The savings was too great to pass up. Please someone tell me that I didn't make a mistake. I had stayed at the Beach Club sometime ago and loved SAB. I really need to hear how nice the Boardwalk is and that I won't be disappointed. My DH said I should have left things alone and paid more money.

Absolutely did the right thing! That's a lot of money you're talking about. BWV are VERY nice. Their pool is also nice. And if you want more deversions in the pool, you can always take in a waterpark - it's all included on your tickets!
Also, some other posts have referred to how crowded SAB is getting. Not worth that much extra money for an overcrowded pool, IMHO. Everything else about the two villas is pretty much equal. So take the savings and ENJOY!!!!

I think you will love BWV. The 2br at BWV is the same size as BCV and Luna Park pool is really nice with a cool slide. Plus you still get the great proximity to MGM and Epcot.

In my opinion you lucked out! We just spent 5 nights at the BCV, and they weren't relaxing at all. We are not eager to go back there. It was SO crowded We only attempted to use SAB once, but it was too crowded. It was a huge let-down not to be able to use that pool due to overcrowding. The BCV pool was pretty packed most of the time, and the quiet pool was closed. It was lousy to have to trek to another resort to swim when we had chosen to stay at BCV on account of SAB in the first place. We're DVC members and the BWV is our "home" resort...we've decided to stick with BWV for the forseeable future. The BCV still has a lot of kinks to work out before it will be an enjoyable place for us to vacation. I'm sure that you will have a blast at the BWV!!

We are DVC owners at BWV and I have no interested in staying at BCV. SAB always seems overcrowded...and we love the slide at the BWV. Also, I love the hotel feel of BWV...

i am quite jealous of you. i have been trying to convince DW to stay at BWI or BWV, but she insists on being close to MK. maybe when the kids are older! i wouldn't worry about it at all.
