I purchased a set of photo cards made from our CC picture and when I went to pick them up the morning of our debarkation, I found that they messed up the caption. It said Happy Holidays from the Edwards. They left off "family" which was clearly written on the order form. Just plain Edwards sounded funny but I had already waited in line, everybody behind me was impatient as well, and the cast member shrugged a bit as if to say there wasn't much they could do... I know they were up against a time constraint so I just took them.
Today, I emailed guest services @ DCL and asked if I could return them for a refund. I said I was being petty, but it really didn't sound right with the caption missing "family" and I was going to have to find something else for my cards.
They replied within 3 hours and I received an email from the manager of photo services and he said he was personally reprinting them and mailing them tomorrow to me.
What a nice gesture. I know that if I made a stink on-board, they probably would have done the same, but I didn't want that mob in line behind me to blame me for holding things up, and frankly, I wanted to enjoy my last few moments on the ship rather than worry about it.
I'm so glad they take the time to take guest comments seriously and I am happy to be able to give them my repeat business and referrals.
