these ghost FP are driving me crazy

Since the system forces me to pick from only 4 options for the FP that I book, you of course then have to go manually change any that don't fit with how you want to tour. And then of course you get the stupid ghost FP that completely render the entire usefulness of MDE well, USELESS. Good lord! Get it fixed.

I agree. The ghost FPs drove me nuts on our trip to November. Totally negated the itinerary function of the app. People kept saying they would drop off but they never did.

With all parks going exclusively to FP+ and the continued presence of ghost ones, I wonder if we'll start seeing increased reports of people having a BM at the FP Reader?

When you are making your FP selections online or via the phone app, often you will see more than the allowed 3 FP's in one day.

This normally happens after you've setup your initial selections and then go back to change them. Your old ones are still there as well as the new ones.

I've been able to re-create this by having two browsers open, one showing my current selections during an edit request (which I think puts a record lock on them) while I add FP's in the second browser session.

Anyway, what happens is the original selections don't get deleted and continue to display on your daily itinerary. I've seen upwards of 6 FP's on a given day.

But the old ones aren't valid, and have affectionately been named "ghost" FP's. If you try to use them by going to that attraction during the time it shows you have it, you'll get a Blue Mickey (BM) because the system doesn't recognize the "ghost" FP.

I gave up and really dont care no more about it if we ride the rides we do if not its too darn much work. We done spent the money nonrefundable so its a joke on us and I am so done playing I really hope they read this forum too cause I get the idea they do read here lots of things secretly

I don't know why I'm even a little bit surprised at Disney's ineptness in the IT arena anymore - it's just par for the course.

Imagine what a raging success etailers like Amazon or Best Buy would be if you removed an item from your shopping cart but it was still there. How many people would be itching to put in their payment information at that point?

If I get ghost FP+s, I'm marching straight over to HM and have them exorcised.

Because everyone needs a little exorcise now and then...
