Shelly-

Jason is thinking he would like to try and go to the Steelers Training Camp that weekend too.. ( I'm suddenly wishing he hadn't found that info...:lmao:)

So now we are rethinking our route and plans a bit. We will be coming into town on Saturday morning, and if you want to do Station Square we could meet there in the late afternoon or for dinner on Saturday the 1st..you can show us around and we could see all the reasons you love it. :) .... or if you didn't want to come down to the city a late lunch near the outlet. That way I can get an hour or two of shopping in and then some lunch and be on our way to the city.

(Heather I hope you and Bob can join us too!!!!)

After the outlet we will stay the night in the city so he can do Steeler training the next day, and I can take the kids a museum or park or the zoo while he does that. Then monday we will start heading home... I realised monday is not a holiday for all of you, and we wouldn't be able to all meet since some of you have to work that day. :( Which is why we changed the plan a bit. I hope saturday will be a better day.

I hope we can make this work this year.

Jo, you describing going into DL is exactly how I felt when I finally went into the Magic Kingdom at WDW as an adult. I had been going to DL all my life it seemed but I really wanted to experience WDW as an adult. I cried as well and I NEVER cry. I totally understand that overwhelming feeling :)

hi Tas... how have you been.
how's the baby???

come out an visit us again soon.

Mornin.

Yawn.

Yawn.

Someone make me some coffee please.

I woke up at 2 am and couldn't go back to sleep, so I caught up on Young and Restless and Days of our Lives for two hours.

Now I am sooooooo sleepy.

Our local movie theater has started their kids program. SO today they are showing The Tale of Desperaeux an we're gonna go. It's only $2 a ticket, so the kids are all excited. That's one movie we haven't seen.

Next week is Horton Hears a Who, but we'll be gone.

Does everyone's theaters do that program?

What's all the little packers doing today?
Packing???

Must. Get. Coffee.

NOW.

I wish our theatre did that, it would be great.

Yep..packing again today...plus I have to go out and get a bunch of birthday gifts for some parties the kids have.

Then tonight is girls night out.... I'm excited. I could use the break.

ooh that sounds like fun. You do need the break.

Whatcha seein at the movies? Is that where you're going?

Birthday presents... grrr.

I have started being really boring-- all kids get either a gift card or $$ in a card. I have no time for cuteness anymore.:lmao:

Jo

Yep... it's movie night.
We are going to see something girly, fun and silly I hope... a way to kick off the summer.

"My life in Ruins"... starring Nia Vardalos from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. She plays a tour guide who takes a group to Greece and the events that take place while there.

The movie will be followed by margheritas at a favorite restaurant of ours too... :rotfl:

Lake- I saw the trailer for that movie. It looks too cute.
I hope you girls have a fun night.

I have to go get ready for the movie.

Have a great day!:) Get lots n lots of packing done.:goodvibes

Jo

Jo - Well my movie theater here since i have Cablevision I get to go to the movies for free on Tuesdays but only certain movie theaters.... that is as close as we get.....

Morning all..... Busy day here.... I was cleaning up at around 9am and looked out the window and it felt as if it was 10 at night it was so dark... thunderstorms all day today not a fun day.... So much to do....

HAPPY BELATED ANNIVERSARY TO THE NC'S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning MAYers!

Just waiting on the appraiser to get here. Appraisal on this house today and inspections on Friday. We already did the inspections on the other house and the appraisal is supposed to be later this week.

We MAY have an offer coming in on our other lot today! :wizard: That would be so great if we got a decent offer and were able to close everything all together!

Still haven't started packing. . . . :rolleyes1

You know, if I were packing to go to Disney I would have been packed 2 months ago!! :lmao:

Just can't seem to get motivated on this moving thing. . . :confused3

just a moment before I leave...

Shelly- when we moved from Fox Chapel to Cranberry, I was the same way. COmpletely unmotivated and so very overwhelmed.

My Mom said "Just get ONE box and fill it. See what happens."

It worked.

I got on a roll and it just flowed.

I so understand your pain.

Get one box... get one box... get one box.

:goodvibes

Jo

Mari-- stay out of the rain!!:)

J~

Thanks JO. I think the thing is that we aren't moving all that far, maybe 6 miles or so. So I guess I just keep thinking that it is not that big of a deal. :confused3 I did get a few boxes yesterday. So they are sitting here looking at me. . . Not really sure where to start either. . .

The appraiser is late. Was supposed to be here at 10:00. . . It's 10:25.

Hey Lake, August 1st would be great. I just checked the calendar and we have no plans!!! So I will mark it down so we don't make any other plans!

We can do lunch/dinner in GC or Pittsburgh, doesn't matter to us. I guess someplace that the kids could have some room to play after we eat and we can visit would be best. . .

YAY ~ We are going to have so much fun!!! :woohoo: Will any other MAYers be joining us??? :snooty:

I just told DS10 that my Canadian friends were coming to see us in August and he looked at me strange and said - "Do Canada people speak English???" :rotfl2:

Yipeeeeee!!!! So happy and excited!
Closer to the date we will pick the exact time and place then... afterall you and I have some packing to do until then.

I hope some other Mayers will join us...it will be fun.

And don't worry..my motivation is kind of non-exixtant at the monent as well.
By next week it will probably kick back in, as by then I can say we move next week. :) I think I packed upso much so early now that the wait is seeming long, and time seems to be on my side.

I'm in! :yay: I'll definately be able to meet at Station Square. GC shouldn't be a problem either. I'll need to make a trip up there to buy some new home goods anyways... :rolleyes1

We met with out lender last night. He gave a us a great interest rate! Even lower than the great interest rate he quoted us at!!! We also were approved for a new loan that says that if you make under $51k or $52k a year combined (which we just squeek under :goodvibes... I never thought I would be happy to be so poor ) all of your closing will be covered in a no interest loan that you don't pay back until you either re-finance or sell your home. So, everything is really falling into place.

As long as the appraisal goes well this week, we're set for closing on July 1st! :woohoo:

Yah!!!! RF is in too!!!!
The two of you know best where to meet. So I'll let you take the lead on that. Late lunch at GC, or dinner at Station Square. Well meet you wherever is best.

By the time we meet, all three of us will be moved into our new addresses as well. We'll need a get together to unwind a bit.

Looks like I'll need to read up on the shops at GC and see what I can accomplish for the kids and the house there. It will be a month after we move in, so by then I'll have a good idea of what I want and need.

RF- Congrats on things coming together so nicely for your new home.
You and Bob are just starting out...no one really starts out rich. Don't think of yourself as poor. You are rich in life and love...The things that matter!!!!Everyone needs to start somewhere financially. Jason and I started married life with debt!!! Student Loan Debt!!! We were 23 and out of school for a month when we got married. So see....we've all been there.
Your life will change for the better having your own space though, a place that you know is all yours is priceless.
