I've stayed in a good amount of hotels in the last few years(Disney hotels included)that the a/c only drops to a certain temperature and even doing so doesn't really seem to change the actual temperature in the room much.I don't know if its a new save money strategy but I'm someone who needs a cool room to get good sleep and I can already say this very reason has already made me stay in a cheaper and older hotel with the more traditional a/c units.I remember my very first Disney marathon staying at a Disney hotel and getting absolutely no sleep before having to run 26 miles mostly due to a room not cold enough, the next year I stayed at the Baymont Inn on Sherberth rd for $40-$50 and getting great sleep, lately I cringe every time I walk into a hotel room, you would think the older rooms would have the issues with the ac but it seems to be a thing with new rooms,I remember also the same thing at Cabana Bay at Universal, beautiful hotel but noit a good enough AC.
