There's the baby bump!

I saw Corey's facebook picture the other day. Keep up the great work, Julie! You have that "glow" about you!

Hey Julie, Are you and Corey practicing taking a kid to the parks by taking Will with you?

For some strange reason he refused to wear the Monkey backpack so I could keep up with him more easily. :confused3

:rotfl:

I can't believe everyone missed this!! What a hoot! :lmao: Poor Will!

We will have to take bets if you go on your due date or not. How was the baby shower did you get lots of cool baby stuff? That was the funest part of being pregnant. All the cool fun stuff to set up and play with. LOL.

Well the baby shower was amazing! My best friend in LA was the hostess and did a great job putting everything together! We had yummy cake and punch, plus, pasta salad (my favorite), shrimp dip, veggies, cheese, sandwiches and other party foods.

The generousity of my family and friends was so overwhelming. We got everything from money to clothing, toys, diapers, books, gift cards, blankets, snugglies and more! He even has three LSU outfits and a hat for next football season!

I still have another shower here in Orlando that Anna (my SIL) and my girlfriend, Lauren, are planning for the end of November! Anna was not able to make it to the one in LA and wanted to plan and participate in a shower for her first nephew. She is absolutely the best!

Nothing like a spoiled baby!!!! I am so happy for you two. I cant wait to see the new baby pics. He will be here before you know it. Congrats again.

I love the bump!!

Here's a more recent photo.

Color me jealous. You are such a cute mommy . . . ya know like the pregnancy magazine model kind. I always dreamed of being that kind of pregnant mommy. But alas it was not in the cards for me. I gave it a chance three times, but each time I just looked like a swollen hippopatamus. I am afraid of my pregnancy pictures. But you look great! What is your secret?

P.S. I don't know what type of boy names you like. But I could easily picture you running after a little boy named "Blaze.";)

Well, thanks so much! I love being pregnant and it seems to agree with me so far.

I have to say I don't really have a secrect, but from the day I knew we were expecting I have been eating healthy. :goodvibes

Enjoy this time because it seems to go by so fast, snif, snif. One day you are so excited that they are here then before you know it you have teenagers and are wondering why you had them in the first place:laughing:

Snicker . . . Snicker! Snort!:lmao:

:cutie: another vote for cutest baby bump!

Hey Julie-- my DD was due on January 12th too but we somehow managed to have her on December 31... wow, was that a good pay off! You get the full tax deduction AND the child tax credit for this year! :thumbsup2
So far she hasn't minded having her birthday on New Year's Eve, she knows there will always be a party!

I'll be sending pixie dust your way after Christmas.. maybe you can have a bouncing baby tax deduction too!

Kudos to you! That must have been my downfall. I went from having no interest in food (it used to annoy me when I would have to stop my activities to eat) to eating anything in sight when I was pregnant (maybe my body was trying to make up for what I didn't eat before?:confused3 ) Anyway, I live north of you, but it is considered "the south" and everyone here eats "southern cooking." Not the most healthful food (that is putting it mildly), but since it was there I ate it . . . and I ate a lot of it. Sigh. It is one of those things I would change if I could.

Oh! And I am not trying to be weird, but I swooned when Kevin replied to another post of mine. Since you are a podcast member, I feel that I should keep the tradition . . . :faint:

Ok. Well, I hope your beautiful mommy status continues all the way through to the end. So far, it looks promising. You inspired me to turn over a new leaf (she says as she pushes away a package of oreos). Can someone please pass the veggies?

Do pumpkin Whoopie Pies qualify as a veggie?

This reminds me of a funny thing... I used to work with a woman who swore she needed to wear her maternity clothes backwards because her butt got so big.:rotfl:

I make these! YUMMY!!!!!!!!

Anyone remember Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor Making Whoopie Pie.... sadly it's in the graveyard now.:sad2:

DVC02,

That is funny. Yeah! Every part of me grew. I am a little-ish person, so everything that expanded was compacted and expanded out. Interestingly enough, I got stretch marks almost everywhere EXCEPT my stomach (so, yes, I can still where a bikini if it has "boy shorts") :) I wish I had got to keep my voluptous bosom, but -- alas -- breastfeeding minimized those until they became dried up little raisins:lmao: . I regained some of it back after a while; however, they will never be the same. Something just isn't right about that. If a mom goes to all the trouble to breastfeed her baby, it seems like she should at least get to keep her newly enlarged cup size. I plan on taking this issue up with God when I finally reach the pearly gates. In heaven there is a C cup waiting for me (hee, hee).
