I'm checking out menus and stuff. I've noticed that there's a lot of pineapple stuff! I'm allergic, and was wondering... Will they substitute something else for pineapple? We are on the QSDP. I assume the cut up fruit is pre-packaged, so it includes pineapple? I'm a little worried that I won't know if something has pineapple. Like sometimes restaurants serve it on ham.... Do they "sneak" it in on stuff at Disney?:confused3

Disney is very good about accomodating food allergies and such. Just advise your server that you are allergic to pineapple. You might even get lucky enough to have a chef come out to speak to you and prepare a special pineapple-free meal just for you!

I'm not allergic to pineapple, but I really don't like it.

I agree to let your servers know when you get there-if you are severely allergic, you may want to also have it noted on your ADR's when you call Disney Dining. All TS restaurants will go out of their way to accomodate your allergy. CS places will have alternate options for most, but I'm not sure if all of them could make up a new fruit cup for you, as they are prepackaged, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Steer clear of the original flavored Dole Whips-those are pineapple, but they do offer vanilla as an alternative.

Since you are on the Quick Service Dining Plan. Not sure everyone realized the acronym. I don't think on counter service menus you should have a problem. Since most are pretty basic. Please do try Pepper Market at CSR. Wide selection including fajitas and ribeye steak, its considered CS.

My boyfriend claims to be allergic to pineapple. As a child he ate a whole pineapple and after got sick. I told him it was because of the acid not because he is allergic. Now he has a phobia to them. If he even sees a can of pineapple juice in my fridge he won't open the fridge door. lol

Disney is one of the most accomodating places I have ever seen when it comes to food allergies or even vegetarians. Let your server know and they will absolutely make sure you are taken care of. If you go to a buffet, ask them to have someone careful explain the entire buffet to you. A chef usually comes out and goes over the items and let you know what would be a problem. I've even seen chef's make personalized items at buffet or regular location based on someone's allergies or being a vegetarian.
