Lol I love all the double digit dancing! I just freaked because our countdown showed 300 and its a countdown thats officially booked, so I am beyond excited! Wow you did awesome with school shopping! Hubby and I took our son and knocked his out but thats the easy one. DD is only 11 but already 5'6 and wears a size 11 women's shoe. Its tough finding her clothes that fit and are appropriate.

Back on the ocean!

After our YUMMY lunch we went over to the ocean to say goodbye:

I miss these girls tremendously!

Back into the car we went!

Maine SHOPPING!

When you think of Maine what store do you think of?

You guessed it!!!
L.L. Bean!!!

Look the stuffed Pickle!

Suzi was showing us all the places we went:

it was a lot... I mean this girl drove EVERYWHERE for us!!! Just know WE THANK YOU SUZI from the bottom of our hearts!

the above are pretty much the ONLY wild life ever in the state of Maine.. Don't believe anyone.. Nope. No animals in Maine.

Maybe they stuffed them all???:confused3 i have no clue...
I did NOT have my camera with me here..

Suzi wanted to buy something for the kids what better then Lobstah's?

HEY LOOK it's a moose!!!!!
This little shopping area was simply adorable. Each store front was made to look like homes!

After our small shopping time we had to head over to Suzi's brother's house!
BON FIRE!

It was a biggun!

see the look of WHAT THE....

Suzi heard something behind us.
it was big

D and I being the over tired, over goofy,

It's big foot..

But it's a little big foot

with big feets...

whatever we had lost out minds at this point.

Suzi wasn't happy about having to drive home in the dark so we said our goodbyes.

I fell

they laughed..

No pictures to prove it. na na na na

It was dark like cannot see your hand in your face black.. and i am night blind.

not a fun combo.

Off we went SAFELY and crashed out once again.

Tomorrow was going to come fast as we needed to see Bradey's game!

Yes. Yes I did.

Good for you getting one done. Good luck with your DD i am sure it is hard to find suitable clothes. I wish you the best of luck!!!

Bradey's game and a favorite spot
Suzi was cracking the whip again on D and I being slow and needed to get out of the house to start the day off watching Bradey's game!

NOTHING starts without this:

Thankfully there was one walking distance from Bradey's field!

Game time!

Strike... oops

They unfortunately lost but got some goodies at the end!

After the game we were headed back to Suzi's for whatever reason.. BUT she did make a stop for me...

If you all know me at all Know what my FAVORITE ALL TIME subject to photograph?!?!?

My favorite spot of all to photograph!!!

Did you guess???

I hope you guess right....

Because it is:

Cemeteries!!!!

The walls surrounding the cemetery are just perfect

1851

Well little story here too.. As i am enjoying the serenity and peace i took a step...

and POW! a hole... I was SCARED! like i stepping on something i shouldn't have! i got out as quick as i could...

Selfies in cemeteries

Finished it was time for me to see the house i was going to buy...
Once we found out we would be going to Suzi's this trip i looked at houses for sale. Wanted to see what's around ya know? and i found one... Bill (suzi's DH) also thought it was great.. knew exactly where it was.. Suzi wasn't sure where it was..
It's a great location, walking distance to Suzi's house. has a in law detached home too!!!

Wanna see it???

very pretty!!!!

Isn't it the most BEE-U-TI-FUL?!?! you can just make out the in law home on the left.

Just received new doors!

I was dying laughing so hard to see this lovely place in PERSON!!!

More Driving !!!

Poor Suzi was back into the driver's seat in the trusty Mini Van and off we went!

yes a walmart tucked away under a BEAUTIFUL mountain!
I doubt Maine has the Walmartians we have..

D was in LOVE with the homes:

we weren't going 35.....

Up next:

Another Maine Must

Another Maine Must!

We were well on our way for our next destination

FOOD!

These are called Italians per the Mainers

Let Suzi order for us, she is the one who knows! well.. as i turned around D found another Whoopie pie... Unfortunately for me it was a peanut butter one...
Crap.. We bought it..

after our order was up we walked (i limped from my fall into a grave) to a really cute bench area!

with a small brook!

Mine had a smilie!

remember that whoopie pie?

I would have bitten D's arm off here... It was THAT GOOD!!!!
the first one we tried was NOTHING compared to this.. OH HOW I WISH I HAD ONE NOW!!!

YUMMMMMMMMMM

back into the car and off to shopping!

more houses

lo and behold:

The sac-i-wac-i-watta-me River!!! this is famous...
with us anyway..

back to N. Conway to get down and dirty with SHOPPING!

this was an adventure!

we did get a lot of shopping done and had a blast doing it.
Like... Once store someone asked me where i was from and i told him Chicago.. in which he told me he is from IllinoiS
How his mom still live in: IllinoiS
Umm No I am from Illinois <-- S is silent. everyone knows this..
D and Suzi BOTH said umm yeah he is from WHERE?!?!
LOL
I don't have any more pictures as i kept the camera in the car i didn't want to be distracted from SHOPPING!

about this time we were all extremely dead tired. this was our last full day together but we were DRAGGING.
thankfully we found a coffee shop.

Can you tell How tired we are?!?!

On the way back we were D-O-N-E

But we did need ONE more stop.

The sac-i-wac-i-watta-me
Yes we HAD to stop at our beloved river! I mean we did by the tee shirt...

we left our footprints in the sand.

Bigfoot did too

which gave me a better idea:

Full of sand we hopped back into our magical van!

I was excited to see a bear.

We had
just one more stop...

a DAM!

I found kermit..

On a side note. I have been mourning the break up over Kermit and Piggy... That's a whole other story!

Not just the beaver dam..

a man made one too!

this was a little nerve wracking

their water plant.. See i can get a city job there to support that new house!

our day ended and we were back at Suzi's home..

Suzi tried on her skirt she had bought

me and Molly

Good Lord i was tired

It was dinner time!
D and I REALLY wanted lobster. the whole experience of the lobster.
Off we went to a small restaurant only a few minutes away from suzi!

I will have to finish this tomorrow as photobucket just took a crash on me!

Lobstah!

I ordered a beer of something.... I wanted something local, and was brought this:

it was great!!! I was IN LOVE with this glass!!!! i raved over and over it.

We ordered

Bill helped Bradey with his as D and i watched on...

we had NO clue in how to start this thing.

As you can see D was... well...

The picture says it all...

Dinner done, D and I treated Suzi and her fantastic family for putting up with us!!!
Afterwards the waitress came up to me and said. I know you liked that cup do you want it?

YES YES I DO!

I am the happy owner of a MAIN BUDWEISER GLASS!!! PIXI DUST!

All of us! what a great night.. I don't like that picture of me.
(Yes i had lost weight here.. Yet I am so happy to say i am 30 pound less now! )

We did have to get back
We had to get back to start PACKING!!!

We needed to CRAM all of our normal junk, then add in our goodies from each other, AND our shopping spree...
I wasn't too upset and knew i could get it all in there...

I was wrong...

We threw in another movie and fell fast asleep we had to be up early hit the road again make to the airport on time!!

hope you enjoyed ALL these updates!

Wow...when you update, you update, my friend.

Absolutely stunning pictures...at the cemetery, at the river, while you were shopping, at the dam, just everywhere.

I adore your new house with the inlaw spot. ;)

The pictures at the beach with your footprints and all your names and you three girls just warmed my heart.

I love that you got "pixie dust" and got to keep your beer class. I don't like lobster...but I LOVE scallops and those scallops have me drooling right now.

Oh how I miss you girls!!!! So excited we have another meet this year!

Yeah, your house.....well, you took too long with an offer and they sold it. Also, the people who bought it flattened it. Yep. It's gone :(

Shopping was fun. And Amatos was yummy as usual. I'll have to see if I can fit a few whoopie pies in my luggage in Nov. not sure though.....seems weird to bring Maine to Mickey????

Having internet issues, I sure hope this posts...

First off - as ususal, I have to say... I am so LUCKY to have these girls in my life - we may live a bazillion miles away from eachother, but we have conversations together every single day - sometimes chatting all day long, between working and our family lives. To find kindred spirits - such as ourselves - completely by accident... Well, it's just amazing and wonderful. Our families know them, and love them too... I am not sure if this happens to them... but I can be anywhere with any member of my family - and my phone will start dinging and going crazy... All they say is "Suzi & Mo..." LOL - they KNOW that these girls are so much a part of my life. I cry when I see them and I cry when I leave them... Really - honestly and truly my greatest friends. I am so excited to see both of them in less than 100 days... A mid-year trip, I am forever grateful for! :lovestruc

Anyways... On to Maine...

Mo was a crazy updater today... I can't say Suzi and I helped, because the whole time she was trying to update here - we were chatting (aka, distracting) her on FB. ::yes::

The LLBean store was awesome!!! I've been shopping at Beans for years - so to finally make it to their Anchor store... Well, it's really cool! Of course - we had to deviate to Vineyard Vines for a shirt for the girls - which ended up with a shirt for me too...

It was so fun meeting Suzi's brother... In the end - we got to meet all of her family, and it was just really cool. All of them were so wonderful and they all welcomed us into their homes and treated us like family. Love them all!

Driving in Maine at night - not a fan... Really not. Those hills and those trees and those curves... Nope, not a fan. But Swooozie did great! :thumbsup2

Our final full day... It just saddens me all over again just to think about it. It's so hard, it really is, to have these girls so far away. <---- I know - I said that already.

Seeing Bradey play in his tournament was great! Those kids played their little hearts out - it was awesome!

Taking Mo to a cemetary... It's like taking a kid to a playground. Buuuuuut... If you are anxious to leave, just find a hole on top of a grave for her to step into. Bahahahaha... No, we didn't do it on purpose - but now we know for next time. ::yes:: Glad she was only hurt a little bit and she was able to limp through our last full day.

Her house is B - EAU - TI - FUL... ::yes:: For the record the MIL suite is MINE - called dibs on it already... Sent my decorators up last week.

It seemed like we were always in the car - but we were - everything takes 45 minutes to get to. Honest.

Loved North Conway... That little coffee shop was awesome- really the best coffee ever - everything was made with out weird chemical-ly stuff - you know how I feel about that. ::yes:: And all of the other shopping we had to do - so FUN!

Writing our names in the sand... Such a fun time - really - something so simple, but it was fun. Our trip was winding down and I think we were all feeling a little sad to be leaving one another again.

Lobster dinner... YUMMY - YUMMY - YUMMY!!!! I LOVE that look on my face - I've never seen myself do "that look" before... LOL I love it so much - it's been my profile pic on Facebook since. LOL Kudos to Bill for teaching us how to eat a lobstah... For the record - he will probably have to do it again next time. ::yes:: LOL I forget easily. All of it was delicious - and all of it, Swoooozie can send on over to my house for dinner tonight. D~ is hungry. :scratchin

That last meal - with all of us together, Bradey and Bill too... Just so fun!

Packing with Mo that night... WHOA.... Nope - it didn't all fit in her suitcase. :scratchin Of all things I had to carry through security... A freakin' train light sign... Probably because she asked me earlier in the day which gift to get for her step-dad... and I chose that sign over something else, because it was cooler... In the back of my mind, I was thinking - "how in the world is she gonna get that home?" Oh - I know - she'll make D~ carry it. ::yes:: Next time, I'll be wiser with my souviner choice. LOL

Love you girls to death - both of you and I mean this from the very bottom of my heart. No two friends could ever mean so much to me. Can't wait to see you in ~100 days!!!!!

D~

Oh my heavens! So many updates!!

image.jpg

I literally cannot even remember everything I wanted to comment on! I just love seeing you three together and enjoy your fun times, thanks for sharing them with us.

All th food looks great! Good way to spend your last day!

Awe, so sweet you got to catch Bradeya game! And all of Suzis family looks wonderful!

LL Bean! Too cool!

Ohmagahhhhhhh, falling in a hole one a grave!! Bahahahahah! I would freaked a little too! That cemetery was cool beans though, I love that it's so old! I was trying to read the dates but they're so decrepit it was hard, but I could make out they seemed to be 1800s, that's what I love about that New England area, all the history! I remember visiting a old cemetery in Boston where John Handcock and some other famous people are buried, it's just fascinating!

I bet you were tired, but in true Disney fashion you guys pushed through and made the absolute most out of your time together!! Good job!

Thanks for all the updates Mo!

That was a great update! You had a really fun time together. That lobster looks impossible to eat. I wouldn't have the foggiest idea what to do with the main body part of the lobster.

Wow Great Updates!! What an amazing trip, Maine is so beautiful. All of that food looks so good, and Suzi was a great host.

I am feeling kind of sad that you have to leave.

Oh D. :crowded: I love you two too! Hee Hee....TuTu

We have such a good time together.....except when you got mad at me for ordering the wrong Italian ;)

So something you all missed with out FB chatter last night.....they both want me to fill a suitcase with peanut butter whoopie pies when I go to WDW. Can you imagine....#1 how incredibly HEAVY that thing would be?!?! And #2 what that would look like going through the luggage scanner?!?! That sucker would for sure be inspected. And I'm pretty sure I would lose a few whoopies to the TSA folks ;)

Hahahaha....totally forgot about the hole in the cemetery! Oh gosh, that was scary!

And that coffee shop? I have been back there a few times since. And since then I have been sweetening my coffee with maple syrup (real Maine maple syrup....not Aunt Jamima)....so yummy!

Have a great day everyone....off to my "day job". Can't wait to start my "real job" soon!
