There's no time to slumber we're going back in November! we came we saw and started a TR for it all!

In all honesty... This was Mo and I in Suzi's van. ::yes::

You have to go 90 through Chicago when you can....which is basically never! Too much traffic!! To steal my husband's favorite line from The Carousel of Progress--we're always stuck in "the rat race" :-)

Must post. My deepest apologies to SUZI!!! Never once did I feel unsafe. Yes the pig picture is pretty accurate!!! I was having the time of my life!!!! Suzi could have been doing 10 and it would feel like 500 because of the incline. Lol.

Suzi we love you dearly and I apologize for making you feel anything but gratitude and love! Your one of my best friends and I'm sorry I made you feel anything but!!!

Yes... So you all know I do drive fast... My friend laugh all the time saying I should be a delivery driver for Jimmy John's..

I will do replies and an update soon!!!

okay the hiking first- that totally made me laugh when you pointed out the other hikers had a rope! Looks intense. Beautiful views!
Living in the middle of a bunch of mountains- I really love mountain views. But loving the ocean I love the fact that Maine has both.
That Moose place looks fun!
And the crafts are cute too. The kids did a great job. Fun craft for them!

Oh, yes the "hikers" with a rope......this was a lesson going on just below us. The instructor was teaching a few people how to rock climb. It is a very popular (and dangerous) cliff that people scale all the time. We were not going down the cliff. We were on top :) You could not pay me enough to rock climb like that! Not when you can just DRIVE up and enjoy the same view!

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Your rebelling of these adventures has me in stitches!! And the commentary from Suzi and D makes it so great!!! Yall crack me up!!

I'm finally caught up! Sorry for being such a slacker. I'm on Staycation this week though, so I'm getting caught up everywhere! Your pictures of Maine are just breathtaking. What a beautiful place!

That Sakiwacki tree, or whatever you called it TOTALLY looks like an octopus.

Looks like you had a really great trip.

So many pretty pictures!!!!

I was cracking up reading your posts & about hiking up the hill wondering where your rope was & sure enough you see hikers coming with a rope! :rotfl: You 3 were just pro's and didn't need one! :thumbsup2

Thanks!!
Yep i am adding mountain climber to my resume!!!

That tree totally DID look like an octopus! Lol!!!

I thought big foot lived in Oregon or Washington? Oh well, if there's a book, then you're right, it must be. He's seems to be like the chupacabra (that's who we blame everything on at our house)--very elusive!

The tree amazed me! so weird!!!
Yep. There is a book so it must be true.. AND it's on the internet so YES it's totally true.
Ohh the elusive chupacraba!!! another legit story!!!
:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:having met all three of you at one time or another, I can totally see ALL of this going on. And Mo you were the perfect one to give us the TR.

What gorgeous pictures and a super cute one of the three of you.

HA!
we do have a lot of fun! Thank you!!! i try to give the best entertaining report!

I totally see it. ::yes::

I think that drop deserves a few more "O"s. :rotfl:

Sounding like a broken record here but beautiful pictures as always!

Yep the octopus tree was wild! never saw a tree like this unless it was the Tree of Life in AK!
The drop was extremely scary stuff.. SO glad the fence was there...

That is a perfect name for that tree. ;)

Wow - you don't look that high from the fence shot.
How does that compare to the Sears Tower? That is the only tall thing I know around here. :)

Aptly named.. we did good!
The Sear tower had NOTHING on this mountain!! NOTHING!

Love those girls... Swooooozie would NEVER throw us off a cliff... She's too clever. :scratchin. She'd just stick her foot out and trip us.

ahhh That's why i tripped a few times???

Ok... I do have video... But at the tail end, someone lets a swear word slip... Totally appropriate for the feelings at that moment, but probably not Disney rated... So ear muffs on the kiddos (and any adults who could be offended, as well). <----- Public service announcement.

this video is FUNNY!!!! Totally shows us in our element! HA HA HA

Best video ever...

OMG! It totally does look like an octopus! :lmao:

Holy crikey, that is a long way down. I'm not afraid of heights but that gave me goosebumps.

The tree of Life has nothing on the natural tree of the mountain!!!
The video's doesn't give the drive justice. it's was more of an incline.. I give Suzi LOTS of credit for driving.

Gosh, you make me sound so mean

I do apologize.. and i still - do it's been bothering me ever since you wrote this..
No way IN no manner was Suzi ever mean or cross.. She did the best driving ever! I just tried to make this report entertaining. which i see was at Suzi's benefit and i really do apologize for this. I promise not to anymore.

Awww Swooozie... We know you weren't going THAT fast... We aren't trying to make it sound like you're a bad driver... You certainly are not. I never once thought my life was in jeopardy or that you were going too fast... I guess that's why It's so funny - because you honestly weren't.

::yes::

For the record... Suzi is a great driver, and I wouldnt hesitate to let her drive me anywhere again. :thumbsup2. And also for the record... We had a blast in Maine... It was so fun and Suzi took us to so many great places that we never would have seen otherwise.

Publicly, my sincerest apologies for making you feel badly, that was never the intention. You are one of my bestest friends and I would never intentionally hurt you. I love you Swooooozie.

Yes.. same here... :flower3:

In all honesty... This was Mo and I in Suzi's van. ::yes::

D~

Yes.. You can hear it in D's video!!!

Ha ha ha ha......Yep. I totally should have thought of the windmill idea!!! Next time.

i want a windmill.

we are funny....

You have to go 90 through Chicago when you can....which is basically never! Too much traffic!! To steal my husband's favorite line from The Carousel of Progress--we're always stuck in "the rat race" :-)

No kidding... people are getting worse driving around here!!!

okay the hiking first- that totally made me laugh when you pointed out the other hikers had a rope! Looks intense. Beautiful views!
Living in the middle of a bunch of mountains- I really love mountain views. But loving the ocean I love the fact that Maine has both.
That Moose place looks fun!
And the crafts are cute too. The kids did a great job. Fun craft for them!

really were beautiful views!!! I wanted a rope.. attached to Suzi's van just in case when i fell they can just drag me back up and take off...
Thank you!!!!!!

Oh, yes the "hikers" with a rope......this was a lesson going on just below us. The instructor was teaching a few people how to rock climb. It is a very popular (and dangerous) cliff that people scale all the time. We were not going down the cliff. We were on top :) You could not pay me enough to rock climb like that! hell no. no way would i EVER climb.... ever. unless the above happens with the rope and your van.

Your rebelling of these adventures has me in stitches!! And the commentary from Suzi and D makes it so great!!! Yall crack me up!!

Thanks!!! we are pretty fun!

I'm finally caught up! Sorry for being such a slacker. I'm on Staycation this week though, so I'm getting caught up everywhere! Your pictures of Maine are just breathtaking. What a beautiful place!

Thanks! glad your back!!! Missed ya around here!!!

That Sakiwacki tree, or whatever you called it TOTALLY looks like an octopus.

It does!!!!

Looks like you had a really great trip.

we truly did!

Hello everyone!!!
another crazy weekend here. Friday i didn't go to job #1. I needed a break. and needed to spend it with my kids.. So we went and saw Inside Out. it was ok.
Saturday i was finally off of Job #2 and had my 2 nephew's graduation party. My sister couldn't have planned that better. One graduated from grammar school the other high school! It was a great time. Drinks of course were had.. which if you KNOW ME knows Disney was brought up.. NOT BY ME. (i will come back to this)
Sunday i was back at Job #2 worked late. we had a meeting.. My mom watched the kids for us, apparently Tom told Meg to go and shut her windows since it was going to rain.
She raced her dog up the stairs jumped on her bed then SMASHED her finger on her canopy bed poster. i was not notified about this!!!
When i got off of work i called the house and peanut answered the phone and told me what happened..
Once i got home she showed me her finger. it was so swollen. crap.
well i am not going to the ER for a broken finger. They don't do anything for it anyway but splint it. Call the doctor yesterday get her in to see someone x-rays done and like i knew would happen she got a splint

she was happy to get bright pink tape... Lots of ice. and keep it elevated. waiting to hear back if it's broken or not.. I doubt it otherwise i would have heard something by now.
then back to job #2.
Today i am back at JOB #1. and busy as can be. yuck. looking forward to being off tonight. i know i will fall asleep as soon as i hit my couch!

here are a couple of pictures for you. and HOPEFULLY during lunch i will throw out another update.
the clan.. Missing one sheltie and ferret.

this was at the theater! you can win a full size terminator!

and to go back to my original statement on how people have no clue how to drive anymore:

if you cannot tell that is a blue truck.
Mangled. there had to have been at least 5 accidents this weekend where the car was just MANGLED to the point of not knowing what it originally was. Semi's are getting even worse on the expressways.

So let's go back to my drunken Disney talk... a friend of ours and i were chit chatting. She said she wanted to take the kids once they were old enough but then time got away and they still haven't been.. What a shame! Tom and I told her how she just HAS to go! they would have a great time Her husband is a nut anyway and i can just imagine him running around like a kid himself! Imagining all this had me in stitches anyway. So more talking with Maria, Tom and I - and poof just like that looks like my 2016 trip is under way!!! They are a family of 5 as well. two girls one boy
the kids at the time of travel will be:
Marco- going into sophomore year
Mia- going into the 7th grade
Bella- going into 5th
Maria -Mom
Massimo- Dad
Can you see the Italian heritage here? I LOVE these people! Always a good time when we are with them too so this is going to be great* as long as it all does happen..

Maria asked if we are busy on Friday night - she wants us to come by BBQ and start planning!!! FUN!!!
I send her the resorts want to see where they would want to go.. and enjoy..
Looks like i am going to need another PTR!!!

So we went and saw Inside Out. it was ok.

Ah man, I haven't gotten to see this yet and am really looking forward to it. But most people are saying it's just OK. Hoping to get there this coming weekend. I am off on Friday but we are have a special adoption day at the shelter so I will be there volunteering. All animals are free so we are hoping to clear the place out! So maybe I'll finally get to see the movie Saturday or Sunday.

She raced her dog up the stairs jumped on her bed then SMASHED her finger on her canopy bed poster.

Ouch! But pink bandages cure everything, right?

and poof just like that looks like my 2016 trip is under way!!!

 Yeah for another trip! I've been reading a lot of cruise TRs lately and am really wanting to do one of those so I'm not sure what we I will be doing in 2016 at this point. :confused3

Poor peanut! Hope her finger is less painful.

All of those giant puppies are adorable!

Yay! :woohoo: for new trip planning!

Live you, miss you!

D~

When I was in high school I jammed my finger playing volleyball and it became a swollen mess. My mom didn't want to bother the doctor about it, so I took a Popsicle stick, bent it a little, and made my own splint. Peanut is lucky that she has a mom who takes swollen fingers seriously. :)

Would your 2016 trip be in the fall again? It sounds like it will be fun to plan. :)

Oooo--Meg's finger....hope she's doing ok and it's not broken!

A 2016 trip with friends!! Yay! Can't wait to see what all you plan for them!

How fun!! Another Disney trip to plan!! And how exciting that you will be getting to show some people this wonderful place and how much fun it is no matter what age. Poor DD's finger though...hope it heals quickly!

Yay for Disney with friends!!!!!
Oh, so that's the Meg story....just ignore me on FB ;) Hope it heals quickly for her!
Logan makes me LOL.... He is like 'oh Raven, you need more room??? Nope too bad, this is my spot!'

Poor Meg. She doesn't look too traumatized, though. OMG, your dogs. I just want to lay on them in a big pile.

Yay for another trip! I think we'll be taking a year off in 2016, but never say never. :)
