The kiddos missing too much school, mixed with the fact that two out of the four in our family would have rather done a WDW trip than a cruise. It was 50/50 for me, so to Disney World we go!!!

I hope we can meet up! Crazy how close so many of us live, but Disney is our meet up place. I literally live minutes away from Kathy, and Ethan plays ball in her back yard, but we met up in Disney. I love Dis friends!

Oh and you inspired us to head up to Gurnee last weekend, but we didn't find as many great deals as you did. We found a few Tsum Tsum that we had to have though. I did go a bit over board on Disney clothes at other stores.

that makes sense! I love Disney world too much to NOT go.. if we are ever in Florida i dont' think we could drive past it and NOT go! so if we do a cruise.. i would hav eto book at LEAST two nights to go!!! LOL.

Hello everyone!!!
Guess what TODAY IT?!?!

Oh Yeah it's my 180 mark!!! and boy oh boy has it been INSANE!!!

I will tell you about yesterday FIRST before i even being to try to explain today.
So i worked job #2. it was hard as i only had a few hours sleep the night before. So i came home showered hopped into some PJ's ordered some food for everyone so we can HUNKER DOWN and talk about these crazy plans.
the kids turned on you tube on the TV and we watched several things including Disney surprises gone WRONG. and you know what those three little rats said??? the next Disney trip they want to be surprised...

yeah well I probably will.. i am a sucker like that...
So we are all in agreement of the original plan A. Okey-dokey. told them we have to go to beds EARLY since i have to wake up earlier then normal to get ready and be downstairs boot up the mean machine and GET ON THIS!

that's what we did. 4:15 am i am up got ready for work bounced downstairs booted up the laptop and got on without any problems. EXACTLY at 5am the system was up and running and so was i.
first up BOG for the 19.
second was CP for opening
third was Teppan Edo
fourth Garden Grill
fifth Rose and crown
sixth 50's prime time
last but not least HDDR.

and THIS is what we have:

11/14 HDDR 8:30
11/15 Nothing yet. Teppan Edo Nothing. OK i will call when i get into work
11/16 Crystal Palace 8:20 dang it. wanted 8 but i will take it
11/17 Tusker House 8:05
11/18 Garden Grill at 4:00
11/19 NADA
11/20 Rose and Crown 6:45!
11/21 Ohana at 8am THEN BOG at 6:25!
11/22 50's prime time at 3:45

alrighty.. I have to call. I don't understand how Teppan Edo has nothing?!? REALLY?? no way i cannot believe it.
Ok throw everything in my work bag and zoom to work. Make it here at 5:45! yay not late. Time to boot my work computer up settle in and CALL Disney!
right at 5:59 i call.. SORRY WE ARE CLOSED. oh brother. Hang up and call right back scream at the phone OPERATOR i have precious time here automated person on the phone.. then send to the WONDERFUL hold music which of course i teared up since it was the song from the MK opening show...
12 minutes later i get Clark.



I have found my new BFF.


Honest to goodness we talked about everything from Disney- talking Whale- how we are gong to bippity boppity boo someone into next week, to Old godzilla movies, Mothera, common core math, politics, This guy and i are so ALIKE! if he shows up to any of my reservations i would not be surprised. as we were talking laughing to the point i was crying it was an hour and a half later i was finally done with my ONE RESERVATION i needed.
Teppan Edo is NOT open.. They are waiting for Candlelight processional dates to be announced! WHAT?!?! damn it. i wasn't happy. BUT i did get HDDR for the 8:30 dinner category 1! WOOHOOO and he said if your not celebrating anything YOU ARE NOW so he added it was our very merry unbirthday! ha ha ha ha! so i told him October is our 15th anniversary so he added both! HE IS A RIOT! and i just love CLARK!

I remember having to wait for something until Candlelight dates were set, etc., two years ago. It all worked out in the end.

I hope you get it...we had an awesome meal at Teppan Edo about nine days ago.

Yay! You almost got everything you wanted. I was wondering if you would run into the Candlelight Processional thing. I had that happen a few years ago. I just keep checking a few times each day until they finally opened up. I don't think you will have any problem getting Teppen Edo if you keep checking regularly. At least you got your other Epcot ADRs.

Clark sounds like a hoot! I never seem to get fun ones when I call.

Funny thing is, we did Teppan Edo this trip (walk up for 2 people at 2:30 pm!)...it was good, and fun, but would not spend Disney Prices for it. But, just my opinion...another I probably won't do (unless it is on someone else's MUST DO list, is BOG. The atmosphere was nice (maybe by that point I was way too tired and hot) but the food was just okay. I did find the food at CRT breakfast to be much better than the first time I ate there more than 10 years ago. Love Tusker House for breakfast!

Good luck getting everything worked out! It will happen!

ETA: Holy cow, there's about 20 threads over in the dining section complaining about how hard November ADRs have been to get. Guess you got lucky to get almost everything you wanted!

One more edit, hopefully you haven't read this yet. I found this thread about the Candlelight Processional that you might want to subscribe to so you know when the dinner packages come out. It says that historically it has been July.
