We stayed at Pop and I love cheesecake! I was not a fan of the tie-dye cheesecake though. It was just kind of meh.

As for why I didn't do the Crowd Level 1's. It was usually MK and a party night. We went against Josh's advice and did EMH in the mornings. With a crowd level of 2, I didn't think it could hurt. We ended up loving doing the EMH. We were done with the park by 3. Swam for 2 hours at the pool. Then got ready to go to DTD where we closed down DisneyQuest.

Our son had fastpasses for the safari for 3pm in the afternoon a couple weeks ago. It turned out to be a rainy day and AK was empty that afternoon. He said that it was the best safari ride he had ever been on because the animals were so active. Everest, Dinosaur and Kali were walk ons, too. It was a low crowd day to begin with since MK was open until 3am, and the rain kept everyone out, I guess. We haven't been to AK in over a year. We had planned to go with our son but decided to go back to the villa to take a nap instead. So I think we will try to go in the late afternoon like he did and see how it goes. We've always done AK in the morning but with the whole fast pass system now, I don't want to use the precious at AK.

It has been my experience that cooler times of day are when you see the most activity on the safari. We went in February of 2011 (I can't believe it's been that long since I've been back) and we got to see lots of animals moving about. The kitties are never very active I don't think.

I could spend all day watching the gorillas, the side with the single males is always entertaining cause those fellas will put on a show! I also love the bird show, can't remember what it's called. And the trails! We saw so many neat little interactions through there; got to see two porcupines get into an argument and pull out there prickers, very cool!

Well THAT sounds like a great plan!!! HA HA! I don't listen to him either. But i do use his crowd levels along with touring plans between the two i have a really good idea what will be happening.. hopefully. we still have a LONG time before November comes around. I hope it doesn't change too much.

Weekend stuff!

Thursday night i had to remove my old couches! OUR FURNITURE WAS COMING!!!
Good grief i need new couches. Mine were held together with duck tape in the end.. WORST couches EVER! never buy from Harlem Furniture.. EVER.

Friday i walked out of my house to the car and ya know what?

It was SNOWING..

I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO MAD!!!

It didn't stop until 12:30.. COME ON!!! It's SPRING!!! STOP THE MADNESS!

Left here went up to TJ MAX i needed a floor lamp.. No luck. Called my Mom see if she wanted to do lunch.
She met me up at the local restaurant we had a nice lunch than back to my house for the agonizing wait for our furniture!!!
The delivery was between 12-2
12:40 THEY PULLED UP! YAY!

they quickly unloaded the truck and plopped everything in.. For some ODD reason they double parked outside. I don't know why as there was ample parking in for of my house?!?!
didn't ya know it people needed to get down my street. (i don't have a busy street) well one guy in particular REALLY wanted to get down my street, as the delivery guys were unloading this guy got out of his car SCREAMING at the delivery guys! it was nuts!!! Then got on the phone said he was calling the cops.. Umm OK got for it bub. To see the wacko car he wasn't even FROM ILLINOIS! good grief dude if you were in such a hurry WHY would you drive down a residential street??? Whatever.

after dog training i was finally able to enjoy the new furniture, I fell fast asleep did NOT want to go up to bed.. This was WAY more comfortable! HA HA

Saturday i had to work job #2 Meg slept over at a friends house. Boring day

Sunday!
once i finally got up and moving it was time to start DISNEY ACTIVITY #1! of about 30... this trip is TOOOOOOOOOOOO FAR AWAY!

Tom had to work the kids and i got up and went on another adventure.

Suzi had made the kids pin boards a couple of years ago. THEY LOVE THEM! But we needed something bigger.
we bought huge cork boards fabric and just had fun walking around and thinking of new fun ideas in the weeks to come.

stopped to eat then off to our favorite store EVER!



TARGET! we needed egg decorating stuff. THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON FOR GOING IN..
i walked out with 75.00 less in my bank account.... The kids kept apologizing for spending money... Aren't they sweet? It's no big deal guys. I can say no... they bought books.. how can i say no to books?!?

On to home. we dove straight into our ACTIVITY! ya know now that i have all that room for ACTIVITIES!

My trip is November 18 to 28th. I have my calendar marked (with reminder alarm) to book my ADR's. I will be flying back from Virginia that same night....so I'll be up late. I'm hoping I can start at midnight, not sure how that works. Anybody stay up to book at midnight at the 180 day mark?

The New furniture looks great! I always think about getting new and then I remember I have 4 dogs. What I have right now isn't really that bad. Just some chew marks on the pillows.

Those pin boards are very cute! I should try something like that because I've already filled up the glass fronted case I bought a few years ago.

Nope you have to wait until Disney opens which depending on where you live is 7am Florida time. 6am central time. so you do have time to nap! LOL. FP i believe opens at midnight.

I have 3 really big cows. which is about your 4 plus some.. ha! the last ones were not dog friendly what so ever. or ferret approved. I was lied to...
Piper likes to nibble on the rugs or blankets.. wacko. this is why i paid the extra for warranty and cleaning! i am a smart one sometimes!

Happy news. We received my new booklet from Disney over the weekend! Came with the updated dates! YAY! It was driving me nuts not having Dumbo telling me all my important dates! he is now on my fridge.. First date isn't until May 18th!
