There's no place like HOME

We spent the Christmas holidays at the Grand Floridian (for LOTS of pictures and details see the Trip Report Link below) and while the GF is a beautiful resort and we loved being on the Monorail line, we would have traded it for a second to be in a One Bedroom at WLV or BCV (our 'homes')

All it took was one trip to the flagship resort to reaffirm our decision to buy DVC!!!

Anyone else stay at a non-DVC resort and feel this way?

Yes, we stayed at AKL for one night last year. It was great to see the animals right outside our door, but I really missed not having the kitchen and all the space of OKW. We spent all 10 days at OKW again this year, and plan to not waste points on other WDW resorts. I would pay cash with a good AP discount instead.
