I've been debating this for our December trip and came to the conclusion that we won't buy it. The girls like Sci-Fi and B&C both of which are cheap places to eat, OK when the DDP is free but when you have to pay not so good. Also as I already have tickets I would have to spend $75 each to buy a ticket plus the cost of the DDP so not good value for us. When we go in August it's always way too much food too, not sure if that's due to the heat or not?!?!?

I agree. And even when it's "free" it's not "free". ;)

I also agree that it's way too much food. We went in May and by day 5 we felt as if our trip is dictated by our meals.

Is Beaches fabulous? We have yet to try it but it's on my must-do list. :woohoo: I am dying to try the No Way Jose. :hyper:

Packed yet? :rotfl2:

The heat really does sap your appetite. In June we skipped lunch twice due to this. We just wanted some thing to drink to cool us down.

::yes:: For sure. Even ice cream doesn't sound good in 90* heat with 90% humidity. :faint:

The burgers and beef sub things are really nice, but I was so stuffed, free dining, that I skipped dessert :faint: :rotfl:

:faint: What?! I would have skipped the beef!

What do you think? :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Insane! When do you leave?

Sung to the tune of Benny and the Jets…………

B b b budget
budget
budget
budget and DH…………………:lmao:

Aren’t DHs the ones to stand in the way? ;)

I would like to stay 12 nights, he thinks that’s a day too long but here is my rationale. :teacher:

Arrival day is a park free day, departure day is a park free day, we will spend a day at Sea World and their Spooktacular, and then finally a day at Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach which will leave us with only 9 park days. I mean really, how could I make the trip any shorter? :confused3 And everyone knows, after the 7th day on the park hopper, the costs increase is minimal. We’ll have a full kitchen so we can food costs within reason.

Now points wise we are screwed and will be borrowing into 2011. :faint: I am just magically hoping DH surprises me with some GCV points. pixiedust:

I am home with 2 sick kids today. :guilty:

What time is that for you? What time do you arrive?
My flight leaves at 11.20am my time, I'll need to leave home around 8am as you're meant to be at the airport about 3 hours early for transatlantic. It's then a 9.5 hour flight, arriving at about 3.30pm EST so 8.30pm my time. By the time I get through security/luggage/ME etc I won't get to AKL until about 6pm so I'll be ready for bed not long after :rotfl2:

I mean really, how could I make the trip any shorter? :confused3
Oh Jenny that did make me laugh :rotfl2: Do you need travel insurance? Airport parking?

Oh no, hope everyone gets better soon

:rotfl2: I know, I feel spoiled. But I just think I have to have 9 park days. I love WDW so much and it's so $$$ to fly there, why not make the most of it? :cloud9:

:worship: Airport parking! I totally forgot! And for some reason that reminded of me of dog kennel fees too. :thanks:

Oh no, hope everyone gets better soon

 They are just wiped out, watching tv. I am going to make them some Top Ramen per their request.

Just going for a quick visit to see one of my very best girlfriends. No Disneyland. :sad1:

Michael just called and said he heard about some construction being done at WDW and asked where. WTHeck? :faint: I got to tell him all about the Fantasyland facelift and he said: you will love that, I know how you love Disneyland's. :lovestruc Who is this man?

Babies are sleeping. I feel like a nurse/maid/short order cook. :scared1:

I think you have done it

He is now one of us :lmao:

Just in case you don't get enough pins on ebay they are selling mystery pins now. They are two pins packaged together and sealed up for $10. We would pick up a pack every morning at the resort on our way out. I know it's much cheaper to get them on ebay but it's good for back up. They're nothing special but good for trading.
