Been to the MK PLENTY of times. We've eaten in the Plaza Pavillion LOTS of times!!!! Have never heard of or seen the Plaza RESTAURANT. Read the menu and it sounds pretty good. Can someone give me a clue about where this actually is?

Feeling pretty stupid...

When you get to the end of Main St, take a right and the entrance is almost immediately to your right. Before the restrooms if you can picture those. Do you remember the little greenhouse type windows? That's part of the restaurant. Really good sandwiches and a very pretty spot.

We've eaten lunch there a couple of times...their portions are big enough for two to share.

refurbished......they had paint on the doors.....and looked like they were almost done.....

This was a major find for us on one of our trips.....you are not the only one that doesn't know that it is there! the food and service there were excellent! We have only been there for lunch, but loved it and made it a "must do again" restuarant on our list!!!

We love the Plaza. It is our first must do lunch at MK every trip. It has wonderful cheesesteak sandwiches and they have a great garden salad. The ice cream desserts are great but we never have room. You can put your name in for a reservation if you didn't arrange PS ahead of time. Just stop by the podium. In fact, that is where we were having an early lunch when CM Bob stopped at our table and invited us to be grand marshalls for the parade. What a great day that was.

We've eaten at the Plaza on three different occasions, usually be fore the parade and fireworks on an e-ticket night. It is reasonably priced food (large portions) with attentive service in a beautiful atmosphere. It is a lot better to get a sandwhich at the Plaza than have to wait in an endless line at a counter service eatery. Not only is the wait shorter; the food is better. One liitle trivia fact: once you find the restaurant (it faces the castle), look above the first story to the second story window. You will see the only name that WDW felt should look out onto the Hub and Castle painted on one of the windows.

Cool Laura's Dad...are you going to tell us? Is it Walt Disney? Or Walter Elias Disney? Is that even spelled correctly???:o

I became violently ill after eating here. We're not much for table service at the MK anyway, but had a very poor experience here and will not go back.

I'm having my birthday dinner here in June. One of our favorite places to eat. Giant sandwiches. Two people can split one and still be full. The Plaza Special Dessert (butter pecan ice cream, hot caramel and hot fudge) or the brownie sundae are wonderful. I might get both of them for my birthday.

We have to disney several times, but never have eaten in the Plaza restaurant till this past Jan.

Wow, chix soup and turkey sandwiches that are huge.

We'll be back.

herc.

We love the Plaza, the strawberry salad is huge, I swear the bowl was bigger than my head. I said I should have split it and our server said oh no it's not as good when you split the portion! He was the best server we ever had -- Jose.

It is a great place! You will love it! The tuna is so good . . .

BCV23 You are (of course) correct! We are fortunate enough to look for the little things at WDW after experiencing th big things the first couple of times. To me, that is what makes visiting WDW worthwhile.

Great sandwiches and huge portions. All very freshly made! A real quiet spot away from the crowds...fabulous milkshakes too!

One of our favourite places...

We had never known it was there either till a few months ago. We went right before spectromagic, and the food was great. Much better than counter service in my opinion. We will defently go again.

do they offer kids meals ??? Thanks Michelle

I have to agree...Dh and I happened upon the Plaza last June...LOVED it! We walked in and were seated within a few seconds! Would definitely go again!
:smooth:

We've been to the Plaza 3 or 4 times and love it. They do have a children's menu that includes, hot dogs, hamburgers, a combo of both, grilled cheese, etc.
