I was reading somewhere on another forum that when we went (Nov 15-19) the goat was not there(as I noticed) but reading the other forum the goat was there the week before we were. So I don't know how long they expect Wilbur to be out but he makes the ride what it is.
The goat has to be back since I have a bad joke running with my Niece. I told her once when she was about 10 that the turtles were real they just glued them down, she believed me for a second until the ride whipped around and I told her the goat was glued too and she caught on hahaha!! I still make that terrible joke with her when we ride this ride.
Watch riding looking backwards too long as a CM will yell at you on the speaker. Don't ask me how I know
the idea is that if you keep your eyes on the goat as you make the turn (which eventually would have you facing behind you), it produces a queasy like feeling. queasy might not be the right word, but..
that's the best pic i've gotten of it so far
i believe it's supposed to work 'best' from the back of the train
I hope the goat will be back In Feb. I missed it every time I've been on BTMRR and didn't even know about it until my DH told me about when we got home.
