Cowinkidink? :cool1: I have never heard of this place other than this board recently. Bu I did do a price check and it is a bit over priced compared to other places I have stayed in Orlando. Just saying... :yay: and wondering what makes this resort so much better than others?:mic: Also, do they offer a military discount? If so, I might try it out. :drive:

Off to get some coffee this morning. I was just awaken by a automated "reminder" medical appointment call. :clown:

I think the pricing depends on who you call. If you call Wyndham direct, yes, it may be pricey.

However, WBC is a timeshare and you can rent from Wyndham owners. You'll find those prices MUCH lower than what Wyndham charges for exactly the same room...and sometimes way less for a substantially better room.

We stayed a few years ago and I've been on here looking for info to stay again. The reason I like it over other places that may be cheaper is because its on WDW property, or at least right in the middle of it, and its A LOT cheaper than staying onsite.

Where have you stayed for less money? I am always looking for new places.

For a Villa both Westgate Lakes and Floridays are less expensive and offers a military discount. I am not sure if BC is better than these or not. I will have to make a visit to BC to find out. I just find that BC seems to be talked about on here quite often. I have never stayed on property at a disney resort, just the FW cabins. I have stayed at Shades of Green but not technically a disney property. I have stayed various places off-site as not all our Orlando trips are Disney related. Mostly our Orlando trips are cheer competition related. If it's just me, the hubby, and our daughter, we can get a standard hotel room at a nice resort for around $80 a night.

Depends what you are looking for. We rented thru Ken and Denise Price and got a 2BDR 2Bath with full kitchen and laundry for $120/night (includes tax) which to me is a good price and I'm sure others can tell you where to get equally good if not better deals. I think one of the main attractions is its proximity to the Disney parks. It is located next to DTD and it is a nice place to stay ie clean, nice pools, etc. If you are just looking for a room with 2 beds than yes you can find cheaper elsewhere.
Hope that helps!:)

Location, location, location. Bonnet Creek is all about getting a 2 bedroom 1,200 square foot villa for around $120 a night (we have often paid much less) and being located right next door to the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort within the gates of Disney. Plus there is pretty good free bus service to the parks. And the resort has lots of great amenities.

I think a lot of people who first hear or read about Bonnet Creek can't believe something so affordable exists within the "Magic" bubble, so they have lots of questions about it. Also since you rent the resort from owners, not by just calling the resort, that adds to the mystery and adds to all the questions.

Orlando has a ton of great resorts, that's for sure. I seem to recall Wyndham sometimes offers special military rates its resorts, including Bonnet Creek, but they still may be more than the deals you can get from owners.

We just returned from a week at BC 2 days ago. It was WONDERFUL!! I have been a diehard on property fan for years. I still prefer on property, but love the space of BC and especially love the price:goodvibes I also love the fact that you are on WDW property and roadways. I hate leaving the roadways of WDW...once you are off the traffic is just horrible:scared1: Disney traffic just flows nicely:goodvibes
We paid less for BC than we would have paid at POP. We are a family of 6 and we need two rooms at POP. We had a 2BR condo at BC for $120 a night. So much room to spread out and beautiful grounds.
To me, the location of the resort is what makes it so awesome!
