OK, this is slightly VMK related, so bear with me!

You can get lots of free trials on Toontown online by doing the following:

1) Go to VMK and click for the free 7 day trial, or do the 3 day trial is you want.
2) Set up an account, and then play untill the 7 days are up
3) Delete the cookies by going onto the internet options menu (if you use internet explorer) and clicking "Delete cookies". I don't know how to do it on anything else, sorry!
4) Go to the trial you didn't try, i.e. if you did the 7 day do the 3 day trail and vice versa
5) Do steps 2 - 3 again.
6) Go back to step 1 and start over!

You may not be able to keep all your stuff, but at least you don't have to pay for toontown!

I would like to see if this works, VMK DISers, how about lending a hand!

It's not really theft; I haven't stolen anything. :teeth:

(MiakodaWDW would say otherwise though....)

yes, legally its the same thing...... Its like sneaking into WDW without a ticket.

I think if you like Tootown, you should pay for it. Sorry :(.

Not really, I mean they are giving free trials away! If they didn't want this thing to happen, they shouldn't of given them for free/made people pay for them. I haven't broken any laws or anything! You shouldn't really have to pay for good things, it's like paying too much in VMK.

Sneaking into WDW is bad though, as people have died sneaking into the parks before. That is definitely against the law!

It's still the same thing, eventually they are going to see if you are using free trials over and over. I also think that they didn't plan on having people sign up for multiple accounts.

Also if you think about it this way for the stealing thing (And I'm not saying you're a bad bad person for posting this, just putting out a theory) the money that you would use to pay for toontown is no longer going to disney. (or the people working on the game) Which means you are (in a sense) stealing the money from them as they would have it if you paid for it. Or you could look at it as you're stealing the services and entertainment they are providing you. Plus you mentioned, "You shouldn't really have to pay for good things, it's like paying too much in VMK." First of all we have the option (yes I'm sure some of you will yell at me saying we HAVE to pay for VMK because of the Herbie codes and the in park tour, which is why I chose the word option) of not paying for VMK. Also using your logic, "You shouldn't really have to pay for good things," you could say you should have to pay for music, movies, books, food, video games, ect because they are good things. Yes I know some people don't think you should have to pay for those things, but if you think about it the people that bring you those entertainments and things worked hard to bring them to you. It benefits the products that come out of those industries if the people are able to make them their full time jobs instead of having to have a job, and then on top of that bring you this book of movie. Thats just my theory.

Exactly. Don't cheat the system, if you like toontown so much get a job and pay for it.

Well, I'm not sure I'd put it in those words. Just think if you worked really hard on, a game for example. Then you found out a lot of people stole that game (in some way) which meant that the payment you would have recieved for that hard work, you don't get because there were people who didn't want to pay.

At the same time I know that some of us don't have a way to pay for it, say you're a kid and your parents don't want to pay for it, and that is why he started this thread. Yet, still think about that scenario. That is all I'm trying to say.

According to his profile, he is 16. Even if not, I am sure he could scrounge up the modest monthly fee.

Yes but what about the actual kids who's parents won't let them pay for toontown.
That's too bad, it does NOT justify stealing from Disney

Oh god. I'm going to sound like such a ... MOM ... but here goes.

I have an idea for those kids whose parents won't shell out the $80 per year for Toontown. Do something else. There are plenty of things that teens can do for free (including VMK, BTW) that they do not need to steal Toontown services in 7-day chunks.

Sad but true, my husband won't shell out for a high definition big screen TV. Do I go to the local Best Buy and forge his signature on the CC? No. That's not right. I watch TV on my little bitty 36" TV.

It's not right to use one trial subscription after another. A "trial" is just that. Something you do to see if you like it and then you sign up. The OP *does* like the product. He just doesn't like paying for it. Too bad, so sad. It's not too early to grow up and understand that not everything is free.

Which I agree with, I also agree with robinb. I'm not sure if GuestRiku's post motives were the same, but my motive for saying that was to give a reason why he might have posted the thread in the first place.

Also a slight side note (sorry if this next thing gets anybody all mad or anything) but something that bugs me is when someone is debating over something when something gets shoved into someone's face. I'm really not naming names (all though some may feel like I am) I've seen lots of people do it, and thought I'd mention it here. It makes for much easier discussion in my opinion.

That's mainly why I do this! My parents won't let me buy Toontown, so I am forced to use this method to get free trials. If I could buy it, I would (I mean there is lots of stuff you get for buying toontown, which I think is cool)

This theory is flawed though, as there are dozens of things you don't get for playing toontown's free trails. There will always be people wanting to buy toontown for the cool stuff you get for it.

GuestRiku back me up here!
