Themed Pools w/slide

Do any of the non-Disney, Disneyland area hotels have a cool pool? My kids love the slides found at disney properties and we judge where we stay by the slide.

Unfortunately not one hotel in the area has a slide.

I know there's several non-Disney hotels and resorts in Orlando that have great pool slides, but for some reason pool slides are hard to come by anywhere in Southern California.

I think there's a few places in San Diego and Carlsbad that have pool slides. The Lawrence Welk Resort is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, but I think there's one to two more.

We stay at the PPH because our kids LOVE their pool slide! We can only afford it when Disney offers some kind of hotel promotion (like the 4th night free promo), so that's when we go.

The GC has a slide that wraps around a redwood tree. Family Fun magazine gave the GC pool #4 in a line up of 10 for best pools in US. I'm not saying that is gospel for everyone, but it is a nice pool.

It's a fun enough slide. It's certainly well themed, which is part of the fun for some people.

For speed and length, the PPH pool slide wins.....but for cool theming, the DLH pool/slide wins out. So I guess it depends on what you like most, but regardless, you know you'll have fun!
