Theme Park Passes

We have just completed on our OKW purchase and have booked a holiday for Feb 05. (cant wait) Please could you give us some advice on the best disney theme park passes to purchase and where to purchase these from. Do we get a DVC discount? The passes are for 2 adults, 3 children. Many Thanks.

It would help to know how long you are going to be staying at OKW-WDW. If it is less than a week park hopper passes might be the best, if it is around 10 days then maybe an annual pass might be best. There are no DVC discounts on either of those passes. There is a discount on the lenght of stay pass which you can buy when you check in, as you can the others.

Thank you for your reply.. We will be staying for 15 nights. We plan to visit every other year.

If you're staying 15 days, and intend to enter Disney parks at least 9 of those days, the regular Annual Passes should be your best option. If you also plan on Disney Quest and/or Pleasue Island for several nights, then perhaps a premium annual pass. But usually if it is one evening at Disney Quest and 1 evening at Pleasure Island, it is best to buy those admissions separately, using your DVC discount, and stay with a regular annual park pass.

It's like an "Ultimate Park Hopper"...you can come and go as you please from park to park for 30 days from time of activation, and it also includes admission to Kennedy Space Center, and more...Apparently, a new "batch" has been released that is good through April 2005..

Does anyone know for certain that these passes work if you are an American? Anyone ever purchase and use without a problem?

Check the budget board. I am almoost sure I read there that it was used successfully.
