Theme Park Admission for Dessert Party Guests?

If a dessert party or reception is held in one of the theme parks during park hours, do all guests require park admission?
 
I would think that they would have to have admission since they are getting access to the park during operating hours.
 
Another option is that DFTW will charge you a viewing fee for your guests - I think it was 12.50 for our guests.
 
Yes, if they are only going to be in the park for the dessert party, then you pay the $12.50 viewing fee, unless they have park admission they're willing to use that day instead (ie they're annual pass holders or they were in another park earlier in the day and have a hopper pass or they are in EPCOT that day anyway).
