Eli: "Yeah. I've known Daniel Rhodes almost my entire life. Maybe the whole thing. He is a year older than me."

OOC: It's official! Summer has started and Nessie can FINALLY be on for a longgggggg time! Whoo hoo!

Nova: After a successful mission gaining data relating to SHIELD’s Index, she was riding on the quinjet to the tower. It had been a hard few months, and she had missed a lot of school. But she didn’t care, at least she was able to avoid the YA for a little while. It wasn’t that she didn’t like them, it was just that she didn’t feel as if she fit in, but that was her own fault. Now was not the time to dwell in the past, besides, her mother would probably talk to her about her wrongs on the field. Nova knew it was coming. Her mother had been in charge, but in hopes of getting control over Nova, she brought her along for backup.

Agent Hill: “You were very attentive. I almost for a moment saw a real agent.” Maria said to her.

Nova: Nova smiled a little. “I tried my best. That was all I could hope to ask for.”

Agent Hill: “I know you don’t like it there, but I think living with the Young Avengers has been more beneficial to you than you think. You’ve learned some decent fighting techniques.”

Nova: “It wasn’t the YA that taught me those, it was my training that taught me how to fight.” Nova kept her voice level.

Agent Hill: “I’m sure everyone will be happy you’re back. I’m sure they’ve missed you.”

Nova: She tried not to snort. “And I’m sure that they’re making a cake for me as well.”

Agent Hill: “Don’t be sarcastic.” she replied. Maria sighed. “You’re right.”

Nova: “I’m not sociable,” Nova muttered, “I’m sorry. That’s just-“

Agent Hill: “I get that’s who you are. I get it. Don’t change.”

Nova: “I’ve grown accustomed to sort of hating it there sometimes.” Nova briefly paused. “I’m sorry.”

Agent Hill: “There’s no need to be sorry for not liking where you stay.” she paused. “About this career…”

Nova: “I don’t think I’m cut out to be a SHIELD agent, Mom. But I did learn a lot this time around.”

Agent Hill: “Well, I think you’re doing better than any other of our child agents. You’re definitely a better agent than you think you are.”

Nova: Nova blushed. “Thanks.”

 

[The Villianess]

Nova: They were flying over a huge city, which made her think about the tower. She said, “I’ll probably crash the second I get back.”

Agent Hill: Nova refused to call the tower her home, which only made Maria suspect that Nova liked it there more than she let on. She shrugged. “I’d prefer if we went over some of the groundwork for our next mission later.”

Nova: “It’s kind of boring to me, really. You’d think a SHIELD agent would have more to do.”

Agent Hill: “Well, you might think that it’s boring. I certainly don’t think that way.”

Nova: “Don’t you wish that you could do something better?”

Agent Hill: “I like my job. You should too.”

Nova: “I know you do. It’s just that-“

Agent Hill: She changed the subject. “Have you told anyone that you’re coming back yet? They should know.”

Nova: Nova looked away quickly. “Why should I ruin the surprise? They wouldn’t care.”

Agent Hill: “I’m sure they do. Would it be so awful to just give them a call?” she asked her.

Nova: “Yes.” she replied. “Besides, I’d much rather we change the subject.”

Agent Hill: “Okay,” Hill continued, “Well, we could always discuss your performance in school.”

Nova: “I’d rather we just drop the school topics.”

[The Villianess]

Agent Hill: She said, “You know, I’m very glad you had a chance to come help me with sorting the Index. And I’m glad you were able to spend time learning about what I do.”

Nova: She said, “I mean, it beats sitting around in my room for the past couple months. I usually only go downstairs to eat.”

Agent Hill: “When our next assignment comes, I’d appreciate it if you got into the habit of sticking around more. I would also prefer it if you changed your attitude.”

Nova: “If I promise to change my attitude, then you have to reconsider my agent status. I don’t want to take this job in real life.”

Agent Hill: “I’ll think about it, although based on how well you did with organizing our Index, I think you have a bright future in SHIELD.”

Nova: “I doubt that.” Nova looked away quickly.

Agent Hill: The quinjet landed. Agent Hill just sighed.

 

[Orreed]

Evelyn: "Did I hear something on the landing platform?"

 

[Fairywings]

Conrad: "Whoever it is is just in time for dinner."

 

[The Villianess]

Nova: "Did you have to make it so obvious that we're here? It's not like I was looking forward to it."

Agent Hill: "Remember what I said about changing your attitude? Let's head down there to see what they're doing."

Nova: Nova sighed, then got her only bag she took with her out of the quinjet. She muttered, "Fine."

Agent Hill: "Don't mumble, it only makes me presume your attitude is getting worse," Hill replied, "Please."

Nova: "Yes, Mother."

Agent Hill: She was about to tell Nova to not be sarcastic, but decided to drop the issue. She sighed. "That's better."

Nova: "Yes, Mother."

 

[The Villianess]

Agent Hill: She walked up to the tower doors and they opened as she walked in. Agent Hill called, "Just us."

Nova: Nova rolled her eyes and followed her mother into the tower. Nova called out, "The Hills."

Agent Hill: She and Nova descended into the kitchen. She said, "We're back."

Nova: Nova dropped her bag on the floor and looked at her housemates. She sighed. "Hey guys."

Agent Hill: "How is everyone?"

 

[Fairywings]

Hope: As a hugger, she clearly wanted to hug Nova in greeting but wasn't sure if she would take it well.

Mike: "Hi Nova, Hi Ms. Hill. How are you?"

Raven: She shook both of their hands. "Nova, Agent Hill."

Conrad: The adults are upstairs. Dr. Cho is visiting. Us, we're about to finish dinner. Or we would if a certain Jay would focus," he said teasingly.

Eli: "Oh, speaking of Dr. Helen Cho this is her niece, Sarah."

Sarah: "Hello, nice to meet you."

Raven: She's just visiting, she lives in South Korea, she's not actually a member of the group," she muttered to the Hills.

Hope: As a hugger, she clearly wanted to hug Nova in greeting but wasn't sure if she would take it well.

Mike: "Hi Nova, Hi Ms. Hill. How are you?"

Agent Hill: She immediately introduced herself. "My name is Agent Maria Hill, hello."

Nova: She looked expressionless, but on the inside she was rather pleased with how well the mission turned out. It was more successful than she had anticipated.
