Agent Hill: "You should come work with me after the Avengers release you from the tower. Once you've finally done what you came here to accomplish, I think you'd make a wonderful SHIELD agent. The agent you've always wanted to be, if I recall, and you could go on missions with other agents-"
Nova: "You just don't get any of it. Long ago my dreams of being a SHIELD agent were dissolved, and I just don't know if I can deal with this. I never asked to be your daughter, I never asked to be involved in the YA, and I certainly-"
Agent Hill: "I brought you here so you could learn to work with a team. Show me that you can work with a team."
Nova: "You just don't get anything I'm telling you. Listen to me for once in your life-"
Agent Hill: "I do listen."
Nova: "You don't." she said. "You never listened."
Agent Hill: "All right," Maria replied, "I'll show you."
Nova: "It doesn't matter, I'll be out of here for good when I turn eighteen. I'll be able to do whatever I want to do, and you won't be able to stop me." Nova replied angrily.
Agent Hill: "I know that you're feeling a little neglected, I really do. But maybe if you just gave me a chance, instead of having outbursts every time I try to talk to you. Maybe you could-"
Nova: "You are unbelieveable! I don't have outbursts when I speak to you, you have outbursts when you try to talk to me. You're the one who's always telling me to be on my best behavior, like a child!"
Agent Hill: "That's because you are acting like a child, Nova!" Maria snapped. "You shouldn't-"
Nova: "Whatever, I forgot who I was talking to for a minute. Another agent." Nova left.
Agent Hill: "Nova, please!"
