I've been watching the show for about 35 years. Not finding any reason to turn it on. Very sad. The lack of use of the favorites, the excessive use of the ones I couldn't care less about, and the constantly changing/aging/replacing of the same characters has just killed my interest.
I enjoyed Adam and Chelsea (even Sharon and Adam) and now Dylan and Chelsea. But it seems the writers just can't get that right. Loved Billy and Victoria, and now they are turning that awesome, fun couple into a mess.
I give up.

Looks like they are re-writing crap that aired less then a month ago. Apparently, when Sharon was visiting her doctor, she overheard the lab call Nick to tell him the test results were in. Sharon broke into the lab, saw the results saying Nick was Summer's father and she changed them.

I say they are re-writing history, because less then a MONTH ago, we saw the test results in an envelope outside Nick's door. Nick didn't receive a phone call, the results were delivered! I believe this happened because Michelle Stafford announced she was quitting the show and they had to write her exit. NEXT week, we will see Phyllis confront Sharon at Victor's MS charity ball. Phyllis will find out the truth leading to the two get into a physical fight, and Phyllis falls down some stairs ending up in a coma. Michelle Stafford will be on our screens until the end of the month. Daniel even returns for a few days.

Sharon Case recently said in an interview that Sharon could be in a relationship with Nick AND don't rule out Adam in the upcoming months.

Phyllis told Jack and Nick that if the test results says Nick is NOT Summer's father, the only other possibility is Jack, because she said there was no one else. So...Nick IS the father, Sharon changed the test results.

Summer was NOT the prophesy baby. Faith was the child, Cassie foretold. Jack is Summer's father. This was "revealed" when Jack delivered her.

Yes, I know, they can change history, but they don't need to mess with this one. Besides, they have trashed Sharon for way to long. Let the persecution end.

Absolutely agree! This is just inane. So, are we going to discover that Victor had replaced Sharon's meds w something that makes her hallucinate (as in, seeing Cassie)? I am so ready to just turn it off and never go back.

Maybe JACK should actually take a test to confirm that he is the father. All we have is a corrupted test 18 years ago and this new one that Sharon allegedly tampered with. How about a positive test? I'll call Maury...

And while Jack is getting that test done, Dylan should go too and get a 2 for 1...

Lastly, I about choked on my Diet Coke yesterday when Jack and Summer were having their "Is their a book about this...?" conversation and Jack answered it would be a small readership... Really?! This is the 3rd time (that I remember) that it has happened in Genoa City, population 3,052...

1) Abby thought she was Brad's but she was Victor's
2) Lily thought she was Neil's but she was Malcolm's

And while Summer is having that chat with her "new" family members, maybe she can ask her Uncle Billy how to get over the love your life when it turns out you are siblings (Billy & Mackenzie)

Phyllis lied about Daniels father

Wasn't amber pg on this show an lied about Daniel being the father or was that ricks baby on hold and beautiful

There is someone else who just vanished from my mind as I was typing out the amber storyline

Billy/cane as the bio dad
Chelsea is changing her babies bio dad from Adam.

This storyline seems to be a go to story when they can't think if anything else to write about

Carmine is working at OTB and he's staring at the video of him and Lauren. He UPLOADED the video to "The GC Buzz!"

Phyllis is at Crimson Lights reading over the invite to Victor's MS gala. Adam comes in and they exchange their usual banter. Phyllis lets it slip that something is wrong with Nick. He tries to figure it out, but she's not talking. Then he tells her he will just go to "Blabby Abby" or better yet...Summer. That struck a nerve...Phyllis tells him to back off...demanding he leave Summer alone. He reminds her that secrets come out, especially in the Newman family. Phyllis then TELLS ADAM THE TRUTH! Adam immediately blames it on Phyllis, but Phyllis corrects him. Adam: "So he lied, and he stole another man's daughter...sounds vaguely familiar." Phyllis tells him: "Nick will always...always...be a better man then you."

Lauren and Michael take Fen home. Fen talks about how unfair it is that Carmine is walking free. His phone chimes, and he see's the video of his mom and Carmine! Fen leaves. But Michael continues to watch. Lauren apologizes but Michael is eerily calm. Lauren realizes that Carmine uploaded the video to a local website! She's upset that her family and clients will see it, she grabs her purse and heads for the door but Phyllis is there instead. Michael leaves Lauren to bring Phyllis up to date, she also tells her about Carmine giving Fen drugs. Lauren says that she wants Carmine DEAD. Later, Fen gets an alert on his phone. His friends are watching the video and they're teasing him. Lauren tries to stop him but he leaves anyway.

Michael is at OTB meeting with a reporter from GC Buzz. He wants the video removed, but the reporter refuses. Michael tells him to take it down or he will use his connections to have it removed. The reporter refuses, but Michael is threatening to destroy him and his website. After the reporter leaves, Carmine walks up to Michael..."Seen any good videos lately?" Billy comes in to break it up.


Victoria is at Nicks. He tells her about Summer. She tells Nick that he has her complete support. She then tells him that Billy is back to gambling and drinking. Phyllis stops by. Phyllis is cold to her thinking Victoria will blame everything on her, but Victoria grabs her instead and gives her a hug taking Phyllis by surprise. After Victoria leaves, Phyllis tells Nick that they need to discuss legal issues. They discuss Summer and her place in the Newman family. She also reminds him that Summer loves him.


Chloe goes to see Billy at OTB. She's upset when she see's Billy collecting his winnings. She accuses him of gambling, but Billy tells her she was wrong..he was with his sponsor. They agree that there was nothing to that kiss.


Adam goes to Victor's. Vic tells him that he can bring a date to the gala...maybe Melanie. They both discuss how they used her. Adam quickly changes the subject and brings up Nick. Saying that Nick took Jack's daughter yet he's still a good guy, but Victor shuts him down calling him deplorable. Telling him he has no right finding any enjoyment from this. The 2 of them have heated exchange over who's worthy enough to be in the Newman family. They basically agree to disagree, shake hands and Adam leaves. Once outside, he makes a phone call "We need to proceed with the matter we discussed." Victor is also inside making a call: "You keep an eye on everything, something is going on."

Chloe meets with Victoria. She tells her they need to talk about Billy.

Billy tells Carmine that he is not allowed to fight his personal battles in his restaurant. Carmine tells him that Michael is harassing him. Billy orders him to keep it out of his restaurant, then tells him to take out the trash.

Lauren is leaving Michael a voice mail. She tells him that Fen's friends saw the video and they are harassing him. She wants to know why the video hasn't been removed.

Carmine tosses the trash in the dumpster, he turns around, and Michael is standing behind him with a gun!

I have watched Y & R since the first day it was on! So NOW Summer is Nicks??????!!!!!! Maybe they should go on Maury Povich and c who is the baby(summer's) daddy. This is ridiculous!!! Summer had got great acting chops!!! As far as Sharon and Adam go I like them together. Sharon is nuts and Adam tries hard but is rotten to the core. They will/are good together. Poor Dylan!! Chelsea needs to tell the truth and not hurt him. She is good waaaay deep down inside. Jeffrey will continue to black mail her we all know what a cad he is. Send Sharon away to get comprehensive treatment for all the things that ail her. Sorry to see Phyllis go but she has bigger career opportunities out in the world.

I concure with everything you have all posted...this soap is getting so off base that it is hard to watch it...I was really interested in watching the new story of Jack finally getting his daughter...and than they had to do a switch with Sharon...when they show that part of the story I have been FF it because it is not true and seeing all the your not my dady and you are is all a lie and therefore I know the outcome from the spoiler so I will save time and skip over it...

To many lies on this show...to many and it has no meat in the stories...just blah blah blah....

At Cassie's grave, Sharon talks to Cassie about the paternity switch, and she hopes Nick will find it in his heart to forgive her once he learns Summer is really his daughter. Unknown to Sharon, Phyllis is there and overheard the confession. She confronts Sharon about it, but Sharon sticks to her guns. In her heart, she feels she's doing the right thing. Phyllis now knows that Sharon switched the paternity results, but Sharon tells her she can't prove it. Phyllis furiously tells her that she's going to Jack, Nick and Summer with the news. An argument erupts between them and Phyllis ends up walking away. Sharon grabs Phyllis to stop her from revealing the truth. Seeing that Sharon has gotten physical, Phyllis decides to make a run for it. Sharon chases after her. What happens next will change everything.

Billy sees Melanie is bitter about Adam, so he uses that to his advantage hoping to win Victoria back. His plan is to oust Adam from NE so Victoria can move in and take over. Melanie tells Billy how Adam used her. Billy tells her she has enough grounds to sue him for harassment. Melanie is reluctant at first, but decides to go ahead with it.
