As previously reported by Nelson Branco in Soap Uncensored, “The Young and the Restless” was on the search to bring Tucker McCall back to Genoa City, but with a new face.

First originated by Stephen Nichols in 2009, we last saw of Tucker this year, but the character was apparently on his way back for Katherine Chancellor‘s funeral, which would then lead to a new story for the character.

Now, Soap Opera Digest has reported that “Y&R” has held off on searching for the Tucker recast. An insider mentioned that the reason behind this was because the show felt it would be “too distracting to bring a new face to the mix.”

Too bad they didn't figure that out before the nu-Kyle, nu-Abby and all the other new characters that have inundated viewers. The old Kyle was so much better; I can't even quantify how much I dislike that re-cast.

I was hoping that the announcement that he was to give last Friday was who was summers bio DAD...but instead it turned out to be an marriage proposal..

so when will he read that letter...one would think he would have checked it out ASAP...unless he is procrastinating because it may change his and summers and everyone else's whole world....Summer will no longer be a real blood Newman,,,,

Also what is Avery going to say when she finds out...will she support him or be really pissed at him?

And Dylan will drop Chelsea when he finds out she tricked him into what was so heart touching to his soul....she is a creep for doing this...she cant be that stupid to think that Adam would take that baby....but after what she does he may just do that....

And why the heck is she taking advice from Chloe....Chloe really!!! she is a train wreck in her own right....and she also tried to pawn her daughter off as someone else's....and we see how that was....

So is Phyllis being replaced with another Phyllis? or is she staying on after all? Im confused.

On tomorrow's US episode, you will see at the beginning, Nick starting to open the letter, but Faith comes down with a stained dress, so he puts it down to go help her. Later, after he tells Summer to stay away from Kyle Abbot for the evening, we see Nick open and read the letter, the expression on his face tells us that he was reading bad news (I've seen the episode already, trust me, he is not happy) Meanwhile, Summer went against her dad's wishes and goes directly to Kyle's and greets him with a HUGE kiss!

I'm not sure what Avery does with this news. But I'm sure the fallout will be hard on everyone. Especially with Victoria and Billy!

We don't know what is gonna happen to Phyllis. When news dropped about MS's departure from the show, rumors said the show was looking for a replacement. Spoils say she makes a life changing decision. I'm thinking they write her off for the time being. Maybe she goes to visit Daniel. But they are still filming scenes with Josh and Hunter (Nick/Summer) for this summer. So if Phyllis leaves GC, looks like Summer is staying behind.

They had an episode where it flashed back to him reading it and showed that paternity couldn't be determined because the sample was no good or something.

I'm just annoyed we are going down the "Don't have sex, you are secret siblings" story line again.

WOW, what a GREAT picture of all of them. Nikki looks amazing. She has lost allot of weight in the last year and it seems to have taken 20 years off her. Not sure if I am digging her earrings.

Agreed it will not be easy to inform everyone.....wonder if Nick will still keep it to himself for awhile....and instead keep them apart...that is Kyle and summer....but that will be very hard to do. Well, think about it. Victoria will side with her brother. Billy will side with his brother. Its just more added pressure in their already troubled marriage.

But....Summer and Kyle kissing today kinda creeped me out. What if Summer isn't Nicks or Jacks? Is that why Phyllis leaves town so suddenly? To go find Summer's bio dad?

The episode ends with Nick flashing back to the night Summer was born and how he claimed to be the father while a sad Jack looked on. Nick shows up at Jack's

We didn't get to see thatin the south GA area. Well known jazz musician, Ben Tucker got killed by a car while riding his golf cart and they pre-empted the show to show his funeral procession. What a waste of a great person to have lost him like that.

Please send whiney Fenmore off to school again....far, far away!

Billy and Jack sit at the bar talking. Summer asks Kyle if he wants to get a room with her. Summer tells him she is not trying to prove that she is grown up. This is what she wants. Kyle tells her he doesn’t stop when there is something he wants. Kyle later informs Jack he took Summer home.

Nick goes to see Jack and Phyllis’s to tell them about Summer. Nick gets cold feet and leaves Jack’s house. Wondering what is wrong with Nick Phyllis’s follows him back to his place and Nick comes clean to her. Phyllis’s loses it on Nick when he tells her Summer is still his no matter what as Jack was never there for her when she was growing up. Phyllis gets upset and tells him he never gave Jack a chance to be her father and how he is just like Adam. Nick kept Jack from knowing his daughter like Adam kept faith from him. She tells Nick he is nothing but a hypocrite when he judges Adam. Phyllis’s then remembers Summer is on a date with Kyle. Phyllis’s and Nick try to track Summer down who is now back home because she decided to wait to sleep with Kyle and go to a party with some friends. After she gets off the phone with Summer Jack calls. Nick begs Phylli's not to Jack yet and lie that nothing is wrong. Phylli's tell him to Lie to Jack as he is good at it. Later Phylli's asks Nick what they are going to do.

Lauren and Michael go over homework from their marriage counseling. While Fen is at a party getting high. As Fen is talking to the girl who invited him Carmine calls him. Fen tells his friend that it’s almost as if Carmine is using him for something. Meanwhile Laruen and Michael try guiding each other around the room blindfolded. Michael bumps his leg and he tells Laruen to make it up to him it’s her turn. As Michael is guiding her around she falls and he catches her. He tells her he will never let her fall and they hug.
