Good Night everyone. I have about 20 minutes left for work stuff, then off to bed for me. We have a 9:30 peds appt tomorrow morning. Seems Bubble Boy has a sore throat when he eats, and I cannot touch one of his ears without him flinching and pulling away. There are 3 confirmed cases of strep in his classroom, 1 chicken pox, 2 conjunctivitis, and one croup in the school. It's a little germ factory.

Yup. No one comes visiting this weekend. I am putting us under self imposed quarrantine. His day care has always spread germs, but this year seems much worse. Not sure why, except there seem to be a lot of new families who may not be quite so concientious about keeping their little darlings home when they are ill.

At least we have a 9:30 appt (that's when they open) so hopefully we can be in and out quickly.

Work is starting to taper off a bit, but there are big changes coming. My boss has asked to be removed from her supervisory position, and focus strictly on programming, so I have no idea what it is store, but I will not be borrowing any trouble until I know what's what.

DH decided that his xbox live and my braclet were our valentines gifts. So no card or anything, which is ok...but I really wanted to cheeto him yesterday when I got home he was playing his silly xbox game! Grrrrrrrrr.........we he finally quit and we had a nice chicken ceasar salad. Then he gave me his "present".

Karen, silly me... congrats on the academic acheivement of your DS!!! That is wonderful news!!! I am sure though that as he grows and matures that his social skills will pick up. Be so proud of his reading level though

Luis has some suggestions for me on how to deal with some of my problems. If they are some hormonal (hair stuff and female issues) then they will remain as such since I am not about to mess with that again. It is to wearing on my body to do that. Plus I would like someday to have kids and what they did to me last time would have made it nearly impossible for me to have them. I am going to eat more (Luis says I don't eat enough), drink caffeine again (totally cut it out and now I am not sure that was so smart since it can help with forgetfulness and other brain stuff) and try to not be so dang stressed. So we'll see if that all works. Luis says because I don't eat enough that my metabolism is so whacked out that I can't lose weight. He's probably right. So there that is and we'll see... oh and I guess I might play around with allergy meds more and see where that gets me. I'm trying something new and I'll see if that helps.

Michele, I really shouldn't laugh but that was too funny about the gifts. I probably would have wanted to cheeto him too. Heck I felt like cheetoing Luis for not even thinking of anything (whether given in the past or not). Maybe I'll go and Cheeto your "darling" and you can come cheeto mine though... I think they deserve it

Good for you Elaine! Changing habits can be a good thing (especially NOT eating!) May I add....a little exercise to your list.....for me it is the best for stress relief....I suppose there is a reason why...I don't know it....all I know is stress melts away when I can get in my walks.

Oops... yep forgot the excersize. I usually walk so it is a tad bit harder to do with all the snow (cold isn't the problem, just the snow). But yes, actually eating more and excersizing is something I need to do. I feel so silly saying I need to eat more but Luis says I probably am not surviving on my pathetic foods (why I am tired).

Bonnie, we got snow... cannot tell how much yet. All I know is that when the paper delivery gal across the street walked across our driveway, none of her foot prints were deep enough to have the driveway show through. None of our roads are clear and until they come through and salt, I am not even going to bother going out except on foot. I am also afraid that some of the sleet we had last night is making it awful out. We are supposed to get more snow today (we are only having flurries at the moment) but we are supposed to get very high winds today as well that might cause white out conditions. So we are very not lucky, two storms hitting from two different directions... not fun!
