Hey all, I'm home from work. The MRI went fine. I did look it up after I left here last night...which helped because I wouldn't have been prepared for the noise. I still don't know anything though. I expect to probably hear something on Monday. It is done and I am not going to worry about it because I have nothing to worry about (right?).

Welcome, CS. I saw that you posted earlier and meant to say hi, but I had a few things on my mind! I'm Michele.

Well, off to surf a bit...I'll be back.

Hiya Michele,

Glad that is behind you, and glad you were prepared for the noise. I did not know that either.

Great Cheer Jodie--PM sent as well, have fun driving the cotillion wagon. :teeth: I remember those days.

CS--Welcome to SS Ya Ya

GP--You utterly floor me, so funny.

Marilyn, I could have used the Tank today, took me an hour and 45 mins to get home, going 20 mph the whole way. My car STINKS in the snow. It's just lousy. Can't wait til the fall when we get a new car. I am demanding AWD on this one.

Hi to everyone else I missed. I have much too much ketchuping to do.

Michele, hi! Glad the test went well, and NO, you do not have anything to worry about. Just relax this weekend.

Deb, sorry you had such a lousy commute. This is my first winter with the tank. We haven't had much snow this year. Only had to drive in yukky conditions twice, but I'll tell ya what...it handled like a dream both times.

Thanks Jodie. I'll be ready and standing at the door waiting for ya. :D

Love your cheer Jodie!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

I refuse to carry pompoms!

Too bad....you can't refuse. the pompoms will be lime green of course. White cheerleader skirt, lime green sweater with white YaYa's on it and lime green knee length shiney boots (with 3 inch heels). Uhhhhh, is there a problem with that?

for the love of mickey mouse, some one throw her (and her stew) overboard!!!! the stench is making me sick !
:teeth:
I like your puky guy Von. Pam should have a flashing neon sign of him made to hang in her kitchen.:p

Well, me and my desk at work are about to be parted for a couple of days. Later YaYa's.

Would somebody PLEASE kick me outa here???:p Just had to say....MICHELE!!!! WOOHOOOOO.....time to kick back and relax ...it's all over and YES....everything is gonna be fine!!!! Sorry...forgot to warn ya about the noise.

Debbie...got your email! Thanks!

NOW....I gotta get in the shower!!!!

Jay, the stretching table is a "fold-up portable" so we can get it in the Tank. Pam and I practice for hours on end, and we can put it up in 3.5 seconds flat! Yes!! And we don't need light sabers to do that stuff. Jodie still has her Cub Scout pocket knives and she is very skilled with them. Bet you and your light saber can't carve a bar of soap anywhere near as good as Jodie can!

Oh goodie, Marilyn. I wondered if you had the folding/portable torture table. I haven't used it since I stretched DS a couple of years ago so he could be tall enough to ride Space Mountain. He really screamed and carried on during the actual stretching, but he was happy once we arrived in WDW and he could ride everything!!;)

I was also a Cub Scout leader - but one of my poor lads had an "incident" with his knife which resulted in a nasty cut on his finger. I almost passed out. He really should have gotten stitches but he didn't and to this day he has a nasty scar.:o

Michele,
So glad to hear you made it through the MRI okay - I take it the noise was pretty intense?

Three cheers for Jodie! I'll take a hot fudge sundae with extra sprinkles, please.

Pam

Have a great night ya'll....TRY to behave!!!!:smooth:
Behave? THIS crew??? Bwahahahahahaha!!! Surely you jest!!! :p :p

Pam, yes it was noisy. The tech did several sessions on me...then pulled me out and injected some precious metal to make the blood vessel stand out more? and I went back in for another 2 sessions. I really could have fallen asleep, if it wasn't for the noise. I wasn't claustrophobic, but I can see that it can happen. Very small! They had a mirror so you could see out across the room. I am assuming that if there was anything horrible they would have called by now. DH thinks not, that even if they have bad news I'll still have to wait. But why am i talking about this? I'm not worrying!

Jay, some of us yaya's do behave! Can't help you though!

Michele,
Your DH is just asking to be cheetooed, isn't he?:( Should we tell him about the water torture device??;) I'm sure everything is fine. You were very brave to do that! I am very claustrophobic and I have a fear of being knocked out. I am not a very good patient!:(

Von and Marilyn,
You two are stepping very close to my Freak-Out Zone line, better beware!! (Von - and your neighbor's phone number was -----------.....)

Jodie,
Marilyn is correct - pompoms are a must. (Every girl wants to carry pompoms, I confess to sneaking into my DD's room and doing a half-time routine - but I do NOT attempt to squeeze into her dance line costume!:o )

Pam

but I do NOT attempt to squeeze into her dance line costume!
HoooooBoy that would be a hoot!!;)

Naw, DH doesn't need to be cheetoed. I really feel that if something life threating was noticed (anueryism or tumor) that they would have called. I could be wrong, but if they looked at them today, how could they not call? Know what I mean. I was reading that numb in arm post and anniet's post made me look at that. It sounds exactly what I have been experiencing... vertigo / dizziness, ringing in ears, pain in the head...anyway, we will see. I am definitely going to ask about that or MS if the MRI doesn't turn up the worst (see above).....

Hi Ya Ya's!

Wow, y'all have been mothy!! No time for me to ketchup right now. Gotta get the boys their dinner. The girl I babysit just left now! UGH! Its been a loooong day.

Will try to ketchup later tonight.

Hi everyone! Better day today, I was just in shock I think from all the bad news one right on top of another.

I am such a clutz. I fell up the stairs at work today. OUCH!!!! I'm a little sore, and the boss was very concerned about me, so maybe she does have a heart...:teeth: She is speaking to me today.

Michele, I am praying 'Michele gets good news' prayers for ya!

Aw, c'mon Jodie, with that new bod you'll have by July, you need to wear the skirt and pompoms to show it off.

A cheer hmmm....

Don't mess with me mister,
cause I'm a yaya sister,
if you mess with my bothers,
you'll have to fight all the others.

Go YaYas!!!!!

Bonnie, glad you had a better day today! Ouch on the falling...that is the WORST!!

YAY! A cheer war!! Let the best cheer win!!

Where's Jeannie been lately? Off on some romantic holiday?

If you want a funny image Michele, right after I fell, I had to go do a blood draw. We carry this big tote full of blood tubes, bandaides, needles, alcohol preps, etc. I knocked the sucker off the desk and tubes and supplies went rolling every where. It was one of those days where you just think that maybe you should've stayed in bed with the covers pulled over your head, but we all got a big laugh out of it. TGIF!!!!

Michele, glad to hear the MRI went well. I'm sure if they saw something too bad, they would have contacted you or let you know right away (I've had 3 or 4 of them over the years). I've had techs tell me immediately afterwards what they saw & if anything was a potential concern. If they didn't say anything while you were there, I would think you don't have anything to worry about. :)
MRI's aren't bad, but it's not much fun to sit in there. Hopefully they gave you ear plugs and/or music to listen to! The music really helps pass the time. Ironically, since my surgery, I can no longer have an MRI. They put a few screws in my back during surgery. If I went in for one today, the machine would not respond well to them (to put it exceptionally mildly). Thoughts, prayers & PD for you!! :)

Awwww......Jay really cares...Thanks Jay!! Yes, that is what I am thinking...I have a few other ideas and sites marked just in case to ask about...I really do feel like they would have called already!

Shhhhh... don't say that too loud. :p Someone might get ideas. :p
Ooooooo... you had contrast. ;) Aren't you lucky!! I should have given you my tip for sitting thru one of these things. I can't really sleep in them, but pretty much take a virtual tour thru WDW. Hey, if it's mind over matter in there, just daydream away & you're just fine! :) And best of all, you never have to wait in line or get a Fast Pass while dreaming about the attractions in WDW. ;)

Bonnie, you fell *up* the stairs??? Okay, now *THAT* takes talent!! :p I hope you're ok!! Usually gravity takes me the other way... closer to the ground. :p

yes, Jay it does! :teeth: They are concrete stairs with terrazo finish with the steel edges on them and the black stuff that is supposed to be on the edges to keep them from being slippery had worn off, I was in a hurry because of a patient need, my foot slipped off the edge and I fell forward or "up" the stairs. I'm okay, just sore wrist and shoulder, but that Motrin I took while ago seems to be working well. Not preventing me from typing! :p

There Jay goes with that sensitivity thing again. Gives him another bonus point on my brains and sensitivity criteria. Watch out Kimmy, I might have to do some Padawan stealing while you're gone!

Jumping in here and haven't had time to do any catching up since last Thursday. Allison has been very sick and my computer needs a swift kick in the mouse!!!!!

Michele, pm me and let me know what is going on. I have just read this page and need some updates.

Hello everyone else.

Guess what teacher is taking another week off and guess what sub is working another week?????? This past week has been really rough. We have had between 15-30% of the students gone and it has been challenging. Allison has missed 7 days of school and that in itself is challenging. We had a snow day today. Really didn't have a lot of snow but I think the superintendent was feeling pressure. There was an absence problem at one of our high schools and the middle school but the 6 elem. schools and one high school were fine so he wouldn't cancel because of illness. Can't even count how many schools were canceled because of flu/bronchitis in the Cincinnati area.

Glad it's over Michele and I'm sure everything will be just fine!

Ouch!! Bonnie! Take care.
