watched the AMA awards last night. Glad Clay won. Did not like the duet with Ruben though or whatever that was. Seemed like they stuck Ruben in last minute.

Spent the weekend cleaning out DD's room. Did realize how many toys one child can have. Now that she will be 13 she does not play with them. She still did not want to part with most. Seemed like a chore. You would think I was the meanest mother. I guess you all know where I am going when I die.(lol)

Hello all! Just dropping in between coughing attacks to let you know that I am still alive--barely! This is the worst cold I've had in the last 2 years!! Got maybe 4 hours sleep last night because of the dang cough. Can't believe it, but actually feel a teensy bit better today. Hope that means I'm finally on the road to recovery. Leave for WDW in only 15 more days!!!! Can't be sick for THAT!!!

Off to find some more soup. Love and virtual hugs to all!!!

Speaking of sickies we havent seen Betty pop in lately. Hope she is doing well.
Im bored, its rainy here today and just blah. But I am glad Im not sick! Although my forhead is sore. Went to the new house and tried to "rag on and rag off" a wall. It looked more like crap on/crap off, lol. The roller I used didnt make good contact because of the rough texture on the wall. I may try to sponge it and see if that works better. If not ds will have to paint over it. No we havent moved in yet. We found the living room wall to ahve quite a bit of damage from termites. And NO they didnt disclose that. I was so mad Im just now at the point I can even talk about it without wanting to drive over there and beat their ----'s. Anyway my friends dh is going to fix it (my dh will assist, sorry he is no Bob the builder ). I can take them to court but I havent decided if I will or not. I almost made dh sell it without even moving in but I decided to give it a try.

Rose Mary, I have had the flu shot, but I've gotten a cold twice in that time since... oh well rather a cold than the flu!!!

Been running around like a mad woman all day. This is the first time I've got to sit and relax. It won't last long, though. I need to get a couple more loads of clothes washed and dried before I go to bed, and I need to pick up the living room.
