One freezing ya ya checking in!
Went outside to shovel, had a snowball fight, made some snow angels. DS's took their showers, and left me with NO HOT WATER to take mine!! Brrrr!! So, I'm freezing here waiting for the water to warm up so I can take a nice hot shower.

I am back after helping dd's catch up on school work and dinner. I was bad today...had a chicken parmesan sub. Bad Bad Bad. But, I was good the rest of the day...

Well,

Dr's appt was fine. She looked at my throat and went 'ewwww'. Did not even bother taking a culture, and wrote me a scrip for amoxicillan. So Bubble Boy now has Bubble Mom. And she 'strongly suggested' I stay home from work tomorrow. This throat got so sore, and the glands got so swollen, I had a stiff neck. She says if I am not feeling at least 'marginally better' by Thursday she wants to see me back again. And gave me her office number and address, since they cycle through the practice to cover the urgent care.

Well, I think I would like my man to be Brendan Fraser that is if no one else has claimed him. I was channel surfing last night, and The Mummy was on. (Don't care for the Mummy, but Brendan, hubba hubba) So if no one else has laid claim to him, he is mine!!!!

Bwahahahahahaha, calorie counts for Opossum.

Dh took both dd's to the doctor today. AGAIN we were told that the fever is good, as long as it isn't 106+. That it is just VIRAL and there is nothing they can do.

Bubble Boy did this high fever off and on thing in the fall for about a week. I had a weekend business trip, he was staying with my parents, and when he and DH picked me up from the water taxi from the airport, DH said to me, we have to go to the hospital for X-Rays, they think he might have pnumonia. To say I felt like 'Mother of the Year' is an UNDERSTATEMENT. So just my 2 cents worth, if any kind of cough or chest thing starts up, get thee back to the doctor!!!
