What kind of memory card was it??? What brand and what type?

We have SanDisk Compact Flash Cards that are 128 and 512...Has anyone had problems with these?

Hope all goes well and you get your pics...

We always travel with the digital and one film camera...It's nice to have a backup...

Princess49 ~ Did you ever get your pictures back?

My mom just lost all her cruise pictures on her memory card. She said the camera somehow deleted them and she doesn't know how it happened. I wonder if she could use one of these data recovery places to get them back.

I just read this whole thread and am dying to know if she recovered her photos. I sure understand how she felt, I love my photos!!!

I am having problems with my memory cards all of a sudden, my card reader says they are not formatted, even though I have used this card many times before, but i am now using a new camera so I wonder if that makes a difference

Yes it does make a difference if you are using a different camera than the one that the memory card was formatted in. I just bought a new Sony camera to replace my Canon and the book says to reformat all memory cards in the new camera.
