the world on valentines day

How is it on this day/ weekend. Is there anything special? We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge. This is a last min. surprise trip for my DH. any tips would be helpful. We're going the 12 -14. Our 3rd anniversary will be exactly 1 month later. I would plan for then but I don't want to pay peak prices even with a discount.

We are going to be at WDW during Valentine's Day and I was wondering the same thing. Is anything special done at the parks? Are the restaurants more crowded than usual? I am planning to make PS reservations for our dinners soon, so I guess crowds at the restaurants won't be too much of a problem for us.

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge too! But at the Villas. Have a nice anniversary trip!

Thanks, I just hope I can keep it from DH for that long,lol. I'm sure that he'll be very surprised and love it though. We visited WL when we went this past aug. and loved it. I'm just not sure if its going to be packed in the parks or not. I know it will be on our actual anniversary thats why I want to go early.

I was there for Valentines day this year. We were staying at AKL. You couldn't even tell it was a speacial day. No different from the day before or after. I did however notice that getting our car from the valet was awful. It was packed with everyone heading out to their dinners after getting all gussied up for dinner. Not to mention it was downporing at the time!
