I am taking my son (4) to see the Wiggles on Sunday. Is there anything I should know beforehand? I have heard that we should take a rose to give Dorothy at some point in the show. Anything else? Thanks for any info.

during the show the wiggles or some of the dancers will come through the audience and pick up roses for dorothy or bones for wags or anything you have the wiggles. the last time we went my daughter and I made paper roses for Dorothy - http://crafts.kaboose.com/flower2.html - very easy to make and fun.
the show is so much fun, we've been three times and we enjoy it as much as DD. Have a ball!!!

We took my son a few weeks ago. I brought roses and a bone. I was hoping for a chance to give them but the only great opportunity is if you are on the ends of the aisles. I wish I would have saved my money. It was a great show. My DS danced the whole time. You will not be disappointed.

We are going next week (in Jacksonville)!

We had terrible seats 4 years ago when we took DS...we took roses and the dancers came up and took them! Even with bad seats, we had a BLAST!!!!! I will DEFINATELY make the paper ones this time! Maybe even make a bone from cardboard!

I was told to look under my seat for a surprise (we have floor seats). Can anyone confirm?

We have taken DS23mos to shows in August and last weekend...He had a blast...The unintended side effect is that he is now obsessed with the Wiggles...In the morning he wants to watch the Wiggles show...In the car he wants the Wiggles CD...During the day he wants his Wiggles toys...At night, he wants to wear his Wiggles pj's.

We learned alot from the first show before heading to the most recent show...One thing was the roses for Dorothy and a bone for Wags...In not being too crafty, we purchased roses and the bone dog toy at the local $1 store...Also, if you make a cardboard sign to bring to the show, Anthony reads the signs early in the performance...Unlike other shows, there is no prohibition on taking photographs (just videotaping), so bring your camera. We have a number of photographs of DS's favorite Big Red Card...

A warning...in addition to the souvenir stand, there are other smaller booths right when you enter that are selling programs and a light stick (which is esentially a flashlight-type devise with the Big Red Car on top)....Much like other children, DS went crazy when he saw the light stick...We purchased one for $14.99...It lasted during the concert, but ended up not working on the way home....

SPOILER ALERT ON THE SURPRISE

For each of the shows that we attended, the Wiggles put on each seat (not just the floor seats) a package that included 4 crayons (red, blue, yellow and purple, of course) and a Wiggles coloring page.

Enjoy the show!!!
