The "why do we keep trying to cram all this stuff into one trip?" report!

Wahoo! Today is two weeks. I can't believe it. I won't believe it until we're actually there. Here is our kitchen window from the outside, decorated with jack lights and Oogie

And, luggage tags! These got me really excited :) We're not taking the ME (we decided on a rental car) but they sent them anyway and I plan on using them! Even though we're not checking any bags :rotfl:

I just attached mine to my bags yesterday. I must be pretty lame because I had the darndest time figuring out how the hell they work. :rotfl: When I figured it out I felt pretty stupid lol.

Yay for only two weeks left!!! :cool1:

Great Disneyland Halloween photos!!!
The decorations there are great!

The bags you made are adorable, fantastic job! :goodvibes

Halloween Horror nights looks to scary for me!
I think my son would love it when he gets older though.

I can't even believe that we'll be at the World in two weeks! Glad you liked the DL photos. It's so awesome at Halloweentime!

Halloween Horror Nights is a lot of fun if you can stomach it  Your son will love it, especially since he likes Halloween so much. I love your window decorations by the way!

So i'm trying to decide whether or not I should dress up.
I don't know how the weather is in Florida but it sounds a bit unpredictable. It could be really hot or raining :rotfl: I was thinking about doing something like Wednesday Adams but I don't want to be the only adult dressed up. And I pretty much was the Trick or Treat at DCA last year. Kind of awkward XD
I have some vampire fangs that I might just pop in. Mom will probably wear her Mickey shirt. She has a Nightmare Before Christmas headband she's bringing. But I have two Mickey ears and I can't decided! I have Nightmare Before Christmas ears and pumpkin mickey ears. I think i'm leaning towards to pumpkin ones. I have a picture here somewhere...

Maybe my candy corn bags will be festive enough

Great report! You'll be there just before I get there since we are spending a week at Seaworld before WDW.

Thanks for reading! I hope you guys have a great time at Seaworld. I've had lots of good memories there. My sister will be working there soon! Then I can go anytime I want hehe :rotfl: Are you planning on doing the Halloween event? I'm interested to hear how that is.

I took the liberty of putting a tag on my bag already XD

I honestly need to do that now! I cannot believe how slow I am at getting my stuff done! I should be packed already! I have less than 2 weeks and I'm not packed! ARG! Anna, come help me pack my kids!

Don't worry! You'll get everything together in time! Usually i'm scrambling the night before to throw everything into a bag but I was too excited to wait this time. Now i'm having anxiety because I feel like i'm going to forget something! :scared: I guess as long as I have ID and money that i'll be okay. Your kids will probably be so excited that they won't notice if you forget to pack something for them; I know when I was a kid I didn't care if I wore the same shirt three days in a row if I was at WDW! :rotfl:

Which resort are you staying at?

POR :cool1:

Of course--5 of us, with a SKINNY boy, POR is the cheapest choice. My intentions are to stay at every resort. I wanna stay at CR next time.

Trust me...if you wear a costume... you most definitely will not be the only adult wearing a costume! Wednesday Addams sounds like a good choice. We went to MNSSHP in 2006 and lots of adults had costumes. Looking at all the costumes was one of the really fun parts!

SO you are really knitting trick or treat bags? I am truly impressed! WOW!

It's getting close. Have a great time!

I'm glad to hear that I won't be the only one! I think i'll put together my costume this weekend, maybe I can get my mom to wear one too :rotfl:

I've been letting my knitting skills go to waste so I thought I could make something useful; we need strong bags for carrying candy!

I can't believe that tomorrow will be the one week mark! I won't believe anything till we're on the plane

Thanks for reading! (P.S. Anderson Cooper stews my juices as well :lovestruc ) :rotfl:

Sorry for the lack of updates! Stupid school giving me so much work *shakes fist* I can't believe tomorrow makes one week! I have a few more pictures of stuff i'm bringing along:

Light up mickey ears!

Mom's birthday present!
IMG_0134.jpg

Alright, so on Oct. 23rd it will be my mom's 8th year of sobriety and we always celebrate it like a birthday. We'll be at WDW this year so I set up a surprise dinner at Victoria & Albert's. I got my mom a cedar plaque with the serenity prayer on it and an eight year gold chip in the middle. I had to sneak around the apartment looking for wrapping and all I found was this lame balloon paper under the bed :rotfl: This is what it looks like:

I'm going to give it to her at dinner. Hopefully i'll have some more pictures up soon!

Followed your link from your post in my lame-o pre-trip report ;)

The trick or treat bags are fabulous! I have no patience to learn how to knit. My poor family will have to deal with the teeny bags they give out

We switched our MNSSHP night and will be there on the 26th too!

Hey your PTR was great! I could take some lessons on vacation planning from you ;) Thanks for the compliment! Just bring one big bag in and keep dumping the small bags into the big one. :rotfl: I'm so excited, i've never been before! Are you guys planning on dressing up?

Wow, it's getting so close! One week from tomorrow!

I know, I can't believe it! :woohoo: But we're both doing the single digit dance :cool1:

And I got a tag today too!

MNSSHP is so much fun. We went in '06 and had so much fun. We are debating going twice this time!

We're doing a pirate Mickey theme as our costumes. We went all out in '06, but I had already bought the pirate Mickey shirts for the cruise that we canceled, so we just held onto them for MNSSHP
