So what did every one think

so sad, so much talent wasted

is she still drugging-absolutely!!

was she high for the interview--absolutley, it was so obvious

did she lie during the interview--absolutley-she lied the whole time

did Diane Sawyer think she was credible--absolutley NOT

Yeah. Me too. Even Whitney herself ain't believing what she's saying. I really hope she'll come around, for her daughter.

That is one whacked out chick. I had to turn it off, it was hard to watch. :(

I could only watch for 5 minutes. What annoys the heck out of me are these talented people, wasting their ability and making obscene amounts of money. Get involved in a charity for crying out loud instead of drugs. She doesn't seem too bright to me either. The problem with celebs is everyone "yes's" them to death, they never hear no or live in reality. If I were Whitney's Mom I would have kicked her booty!

Let me start off by saying that I do like Whitney Houston as an artist. IMHO two comments regarding that interview:

1) She got on national TV and said that she was not "addicted" to drugs and alcohol--but that she had a "very bad habit." That's a nice way to sugar coat it.

2) At one point Diane Sawyer asked Bobby Brown whether or not he used drugs and when he replied that he only smokes marijuana. I almost choked. Diane later reminded him that he had recently tested for cocaine. He fires back with something to the effect of he tested positive for a cocaine-like substance, i.e. aspirin. Well gee what was he going to say, especially with a pending court case. Puhleeze. Give me a break! He goes on later in the interview to say that he needs to smoke marijuana because he is bi-polar and cannot take lithium because it leaves him catatonic.

That said, I hope that Whitney and Bobby can work through their demons and get some help.

I didn't know she was being interviewed. In November, she came to the Atlanta area to support her husband with his legal troubles. She just looked unwell. I didn't know the extent of her own problems.

I would really like to know why no one has investigated the safety of their daughter living in that house!!!!

Yes, it was sad. I was taken back by her little holyer than thou attutide as times. I do like her music, but she has some serious personal issues.:( Very sad with their little girl living there. :(

It was very hard to watch. DH and I agreed it was not a "chem-free" interview!

Very sad....so much talent.

She needs to check herself into the Bobby Brown Clinic, and bring Bobby with her.

Bobby Brown was a patient at the hospital I work at over the summer. He was placed in one of the nicest areas of the hospital in the cardiac suite. It's like a hotel room with a wet bar, little kitchen like area for family members, custom drapery, etc.

Employees that were caught "gossiping" about him were fired.

And we still don't know the exact reason for his 5 day admission, but it was "rumored" to be fever of unknown origin.

I highly doubt that was the cause.

She looked high as a kite. It made me especially sick when she was fawning all over her daughter. Normally, that would be a tender, loving mother-daughter moment, but with her - it was just weird.

The thing that made me sad was that someone who has so much needs drugs to get thru life. She really does have an ego problem too. jmho. She thinks that she can beat drugs/alcohol on her:rolleyes:
how did you like the comment " I don't do crack....I have money....thats for poor people (somthing like that). So you would do crack if you couldn't afford the coke??? ugh.:(

That ego problem is the exact attitude you get from any addict who is in complete denial. She just proved that she needs some serious help and NOW.

What a couple, huh??? Picture of them in Atlanta last Monday at his court hearing.

Tell me he doesn't look stoned there!

And Whitney...she has nothing to be smiling at!

At one point Whitney said that she wasn't too skinny & she didn't have an eating problem (and I'll NEVER BE FAT... NEVER) and then a while later she said that there are times when the stress is just too much & she doesn't eat...

ok

The only good thing I saw in the interview (and I only watched the first 1/2 hour or so) was that she does seem dedicated to her marriage (for good or bad.. I don't know).

I don't do crack....I have money....thats for poor people (somthing like that). So you would do crack if you couldn't afford the coke???

I wanted Diane to ask her WHAT she did do instead!! LOL What's the rich person's drug of choice? ::sadly lol::

Sounds to me like being dedicated to a union like theirs isn't a positive thing- it's a negative thing. If they are both drugging and not trying to get clean.... they'll just keep dragging each other down.

Cissy Houston must be heartbroken..... but if you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas. Bobby Brown has always been a punk.

I find it sad that such a formerly gorgeous talented woman has allowed herself to be dragged down by the man she married. I find it sad that these two people have more money than they will ever need and instead of spending it on a good cause such as charity, they flush it down the toilet by doing drugs. I find it sad that they have brought an innocent child into this mess that is their life.

They are pathetic, sad people, who become even more pathetic and sad every time they open their mouths and make any effort to defend their behavior.

does anyone else remember that this women has had a least two miscarriages and I can't help but wonder if her " lifestyle" wasn't the major factor. Please no flames I understand miscarriages are heart wrenching and most women aren' t the cause. But Whitney seems to have no regard for her own health and well being.

I didn't see this MUCH HYPED interview; it was pre-empted in our area for the women's Iowa vs. Iowa State basketball game (a vastly better choice, IMHO).

The Dueling Pianos guys on the Disney Magic cruise we were on in August said that Whitney and company were SUPPOSED to be on our cruise, but cancelled at the last minute -- surprise, surprise    !
