run to town for rabbit and cat food

scrapbook (goal 10 pages) ~~~~Complete 7 digital pages... need to order this book before I lose my credit!!!

Exciting day today! DH, FIL and BIL went to the big annual ice fishing party, so We're having our first annual Ice Fishing Widows Crop today. Need to come up with a better name...

The basement at MIL's house is all set up, just waiting for SIL to come over (no way we were starting as early as the boys). Gonna be a fun day with scrapbooking, lunch out and a trip to all the awesome scrapbook/craft stores we don't have near my rural hamlet. And no boys till dinner time!

Here's hoping BIL has a good time. It's his first time, and we want our girls only day in the future.

Good Morning! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

We have friends coming-should arrive any minute-staying overnight. The guys/kids are all going skiing and I am going to work in my craft room. Tonight, we'll have a nice dinner and tomorrow more skiing.

I just woke up so I need to drink my coffee before I can think straight! HA!

Afternoon all

Today was the youth ice fishing derby here I've been on the ice since 7 am! Just got in only 1 fish out of 6 boys in our care only 1 fish (now I know why I hate that pond) but it was Levi that caught it and it was his last derby! Bittersweet day my baby is turning over the leaf........ 5 Less than 5 months till he has his permit (15) and that makes me & all at the same time.

Left to do clean up house and take a nap. Levi and his girlfriend were on the ice this am and tonight they are going to a Dartmouth Hocky game and bowling till midnight with her family...... LONG night.

Sunday
we have confirmation stuff for Levi from 10:30 mass till 2 in the afternoon. Less than 2 weeks notice and ruined my scrapbook day out!!! I'm so not liking this new priest, he's all abt him and it's his way or no way. VERY much like what my mom grew up with and even she who NEVER misses a sunday isn't happy. Oh well got to suck it up.

Off to do something. I don't feel like cleaning......

I still feel dreadful! Went to the doctor early on Thursday...he confirmed that I have the flu AND a bladder/kidney infection

Anti-biotic, pain meds, fluids and sleep are my friends right now

Rachel I got up earlier for this than I do for work! I would LOVE a nap. Don't see it happening yet but it would be so nice.

Now that I've been sitting here at the computer I'm really dragging I've got to get moving or I'm not going to!

I was just informed that I will be spending the whole of my Valentine's eveing in meetings. Now to break the news to DH, hopefully he has not made any plans yet.

Well Cassey I'll be spending my valentines at a school event for 3-4 hours. Won't probably even see the husband depending on sugaring.... Hang in there.

Afternoon everyone,

Cheryl - you poor thing. Hope you feel better soon. Get lots of rest!

Have been putzing around for most of the day - checking emails, making valentine cards, scrapping, reading, back and forth. Had a nice breakfast with DH and he spent the morning working on his small honey do list. He is playing guitar now so I am back in the craft room.

DH's 10 hours/6 days a week work is still ongoing, I'm over it already!!! Has been going on since November 1 and will continue until sometime in April. He also worked 6 days a week last Feb and Mar and half of June thru Sept!! Needless to say, unless we are on vacation, we don't do much. He just wants to relax at home on his one day off, can't say that I blame him...

Okay, I've stopped WHINING, haha. He has a good job and the OT is helping pay for our fabulous Pre-cruise Barcelona Adventures by Disney/12 night Med Cruise on the Magic this summer!! Are we there yet?

Oh, Cheryl, feel better.

DH called just after we got to dance on Friday night, the water heater is leaking! Sigh, it's just over 2 years old and thankfully I bought the long service contract. Sears is supposed to be in tomorrow to install a new one, but we still haven't heard what time. Really frustrating.

Yesterday I took Morgan and my mom to get their hair cut. We stopped to see Scout, made some cookie deliveries, and watched a bunch of season 2 of Downton Abbey.

We have Sophie's 3rd birthday party today. Where does the time go? DSis wanted to get her a lap desk, so I did this for her yesterday. She was pleased with how it came out, I hope Sophie likes it Need to either make her a card or find one in my stash.

Cassey, sorry about your meetings. We have a band concert on the 13th, so not as bad as Valentine's Day.

Hope everyone is safe and warm. While having no hot water "stinks on ice" (as Morgan would say), it's not so bad as if we had no furnace!

Bummer Jen. And I agree its better then no heat at all. You can make hot water. when ours was out it was a long 2 days.

Today, I have to get up and moving, help Dbf move the totes of stuff, from the garage to the attic, luckily the attic is in the garage. because they are starting the laundry room expansion today! I am so excited! I am going to be able to switch laundry out without a hassle and the kids will have "cubbies" for their crap! Then I will be able to set up my warehouse in the garage. Soo much to do. So little time!

Rachal, for the remodel start! Hope it goes quickly!

Spent the morning talking to my mom and the superintendent. Mom and dad are planning to visit during February vacation. Hopefully all goes well and they are able to travel. I am going to work vary hard to persuade other committee members not to schedule any meetings during that week as I want to spend time with them while they are here. Wish me luck as I am going to need it.

Okay off to the grocery store. Need to get the chores done for the day.
