Sorry to check in with the masses again, but I would like to hear from folks who have been to WDW the Friday BEFORE Thanksgiving til the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving. I understand it will be crowded, but is it totally undoable (is that a word?!?!?!).

I would plan a simple day on the Friday after Thanksgiving as I'm sure that day is busy everywhere. Maybe just a resort day and a nice dinner somewhere.

Any info would be helpful. THANKS!

We've done Thanksgiving week 3 times in the past, and will be doing so again this year. We typically arrive the Sat before and leave the Sat after. We've also done early June.

The first part of your stay will be pleasant, until Tuesday. Wednesday will be busier, but still manageable. Thursday and Friday are pretty bad. IMHO: The crowds on Thur and Fri are like June crowds, WITHOUT the heat.

We do our best to expereince eveything that "we need to do" in the first 4 days. We do what we missed and the things that we want to do again, plus we save our shopping and etc for late in the week...

I go to Disney every year at this time arriving the Friday before but leaving the day before Thanksgiving. This is what we have experienced in the past..........We don't do a park on arrival day. We have always done EPCOT on Sat. with minimal crowds. Sun. is EE day at MK which we have done in the past. The mornings are empty but gets very crowded by noontime. We are thinking about trying MK on a different day this year. For anyone reading this, any opinions as to which day is better to visit MK during Thanksgiving week will be helpful!!
We do MGM on Monday.....the crowds aren't bad but sometimes you might have to wait 30 minutes for some of the attractions that don't offer fast pass. Tuesday is our non-park day so I can't help you with that. The reason we wait until Monday for MGM is because we have been lucky to be able to see the Osborne light display before the actual opening! Not sure if the display is open to park guests on Sun. but we have been lucky so far with going on a Monday and being able to see them. Hope this holds true for our visit this year!! Hope this helps.

Thanks to you both. It was just as I expected it would be. As long as we have a few days to go touring without the big crowds, I can stand the big crowds at the end of the week.

This will help decide for us. Thanks again!
