Please help--I'm getting conflicting answers. My kids are out of school the entire week of Thanksgiving with the exception of that Monday. We were thinking of flying in on the Friday before and doing Disney from the Saturday before until the day after Thanksgiving and flying home on the Saturday after. Any opinions--crowd thoughts etc. We will be traveling with our 3 who will be 10 1/2, 6 and 3 1/2. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, Ilisa

Crowds are more that week but go and have a great time.

This is a great time to go. During the week leading up to Thanksgiving, the crowds are quite low. It picks up and gets crowded Thanksgiving and Friday, then starts tapering off Saturday and Sunday. If you are going to the parks on those days then pick the less popular ones. Our family traditionally went to WDW during Mardi Gras but decided to do a long trip over Thanksgiving. The crowds were better before Thanksgiving day than they had been before. We went to MGM on Thanksgiving, then did a tour and EPCOT on Friday. That worked out great for us. And it's so neat to see the park go from normal to Christmas-decked overnight. Have a wonderful trip!
