How are the crowds traditionally the week immediately after Halloween but before the official start of the Christmas season? I realize this year is a bit of an outlier, but I would think that week would generally be slower. Am I wrong?

I'm curious myself. We arrive Oct. 28th - Nov. 6th.....so we fall directly into that timeframe. We're normally there the first week of October, but not this year.

Isitpacked.com predicts it will be a ghost town from the 2nd to the 4th. Now will the prediction of a ghost town created higher demand undermining their prediction?? Who knows.

I can say I used it for my visit around a holiday, I picked a day they predicted "Hey, it's alright" and I agreed. A friend also used it recently and thought it was accurate for their visit.

Edited: had the wrong dates listed

The week immediately after Halloween has been my favorite week to go for several years now. I’m talking about mid-week, not the weekend. Historically, it has low crowds . I think all bets are off this year, but I personally think it’d be a great week to go. The following week is Dapper Day and the official start of the Christmas season so I would expect crowds to be heavier the 2nd week.

I feel like all bets are off this year, but we went the first week of November in 2019 and crowds were really good.

We have gone the Fri-Sun from 2016 to 2019. I have no complaints. It was also Dapper Day weekend. Halloween decor is gone and Holiday decor has yet to be put up.

As it's been said, this year all bets are off.

In the past: I've been too and ghost town about describes in correct throughout the week. We had seen Jack Skellington wander into a store playing around with NBC merch because no one was in his line. And those who are into characters know how bad that line can get.

We have done it a couple of times and I guess I always felt it was busy. It feels like,
no matter when you go, that area around New Orleans Square is always wall to wall people. I feel like lines were not as bad as they were when we were there recently, though.

It's been really crazy now at Disneyland almost everyday.... honestly there's nothing to compare this year to previous years. Take your time and enjoy, you will still have fun!!
