The Week Before WWoHP

So I've read that the weekend of the 18th will be crazy, but what about the week before? I'm hoping that if I go then, I might be able to get a soft opening but its ok if I don't. Do you think the parks will still be uncomfortably crowded?

I think the week before will be fine...it usually is...so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

We planned our trip to US starting June 16...booked before the grand opening was announced. What is the opinion...will the parks be more crowded the 16 & 17th? Should we still trip to do Universal those days, stay away for the weekend and finish up on Monday???

OR just skip US altogether and go to WDW?

We'll be back in FL next April so we could save our tix until then....but I have a huge HP fan...

I'm going to be there that week too. At first I was thinking about visiting on the 17th, but the odds of their being any kind of soft opening on that they are pretty slim I reckon as they'll be setting everything up for the big day.

I'm sure that its going to be packed regardless of when you go for the majority of the next few months so you'll just have to bite the bullet and make the most regardless - crowds will not affect my hols!
