As we go in three weeks I thought it was about time that I started this pre trip report.:)

The title is in honour of DS Adam who is commonly known in this house as the wee man and who is coming with us for his first trip.

Cast List

Me – 3rd trip in 1.5 years
DD1 – Age 7 – 3rd trip
DD2 – Age 5 but turns 6 when we are there – 3rd trip
DS – Age 4 – first trip!
Granny - My mum – 2nd trip with us
Uncle Philip – my brother – this is his first trip with us but he has been on a couple of day trips before - partly a trip for his 21st birthday.

When – September 24th – 27th for me and the kids – Mum and Brother are staying on in Paris for a few days for him to celebrate his 21st on the 28th and my other brother might be flying up from Barcelona to see them.

We had a few difficulties with our original travel plans as Aer Lingus cancelled our flight from Belfast and moved us to the next day but, as it would have been too expensive to change our Disney booking we are now catching the evening flight with Easyjet so will miss our normal first afternoon in the park. We are booked for Seqouia Lodge again as I got the 40% off offer and we also booked half board vouchers as they worked well for us last time. I have booked Ezyshuttle for transfers

Friday I hope we will be up early and in the park for as near to 8am as possible, I will let the girls choose where we go first but I reckon they will want to start with a go on Buzz! Adam loves Toy Story so I hope he will like this. No doubt after Buzz the girls will want to go on The Carousel, Dumbo and The Teacups. The rest of the day we will just go where the kids want to go and will watch the parade. Friday night I haven't decided where to eat, the park shuts at 7pm so we will book something for after this and I am quite taken with the idea of Inventions or we might just eat in the hotel.

Saturday – I plan to be in the park for EMH and hope to have a GMF breakfast and then would like to spend the day in the Studios – the girls have never seen the High School Musical show and I reckon they will love this. As today is Lucy’s birthday I hope to be up before her and somehow get presents for her and a balloon in the room for when she wakes up (could be hard as she is normally the first up!) We didn’t have a great experience in Cafe Mickey the last time we were there but as I plan to get Lucy a cake I think this is the best option for tea! We might have some chill out time and come back to the hotel in the afternoon and then go to Cafe Mickey around 6.30 giving us time to go back to the park later if we feel like it.

Sunday – late flight back so plan to do EMH come back to the hotel to check out then go to The Steakhouse for Sunday brunch. I would like to go to see the characters at the DLH and then into the park for the last couple of hours before we head back to the airport. This is where things might come slightly unravelled as I am flying back to Belfast with three children on my own! Hopefully the flight will be on time and I won’t have too many problems getting them off the plane at the other end.

I still have to phone and make dining reservations and I also need to contact SL to arrange interconnecting rooms.

The children don't know anything about this trip and I plan to try and keep it that way until the day we go. I got the girls HSM wheeled backpacks in the Disney store sale and have picked up some other bits and pieces to put away for them for the flight. I have a Disney store gift box and plan to get a helium mickey or minnie and put an invitation inside the box which they will get when they come home from school, they will just need to get changed and then it is straight off to the airport where we will meet Granny and Uncle Philip.

Only three weeks to keep the secret - I can't even come on here if the kids are around in case they see the ticker at the bottom of my posts!

Great pre-trippie!! :thumbsup2 May well see you in Fantasyland on the Friday morning as that will be our last day & the only chance we get to do Casey & Storybook Cruise!

I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time! :goodvibes The Steakhouse Sunday brunch looks fab - I plan on making sure we squeeze in a Sunday on our "next trip" (I daren't say that out loud in front of DH though!!) :rotfl2:

Good luck with the flight home - very brave!! :lmao:

As it is less than a week to go I reckoned it was time I sorted out a few things so this morning I have phoned and added a birthday cake to our booking and made restaurant reservations. I have booked Cafe Mickey at 6.15 on Saturday and booked The Steakhouse Brunch for Sunday at 12.30 - still haven't decided where we are eating on Friday night though, reckon we will decide that on Friday morning and book something at City Hall.

I have been in touch with Sequoia Lodge to request connecting rooms for us and also to check about the pool being closed, they have replied saying that they will do their best to give us the requested rooms and also that the pool had to be shut for repairs to the building but we can use the pool at another hotel.

The kids still don't know they are going - how I have manged to keep it quiet this long I don't know. I have an invitation to Mickeys Magical Party made for them and somehow need to get the bags packed without them catching on. The only other things I need to do are get euros and buy a helium balloon to tie the invitation to!

This time next week we will be there:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
