Any ideas what they are expecting the weather to be like in another month at WDW? Sometimes the weather forecasters will give an idea what they think things will be like over the winter and was just curious what they expected things to be like (If they've said anything) Will be there in about a month.

Cooler and drier than now. That's about all that can be said with any confidence.

Accuweather.com posts weather 45 days out. Take the forecast with a grain of salt obviously but I have been updating DW with it daily from work since our trip made it's way into the 45 day window :rolleyes1

Bummer. I'm going to be there November 25-29, and it says rain EVERYDAY, and in the 80s.

December 11:

Record High 90
Record Low 28
Average 73/53

Expect anything.

If there's anything I've learned about Florida weather is that they shouldn't even try to predict it. It changes hour to hour. My favorite was how I stressed because it was calling for 100% strong storms on our magic kingdom day the night before. That's gotta be accurate right? Night before? Uhhh no! Next morning woke up to a beautiful day. Percentage of rain dropped to 20% and we didn't see a drop of rain. Really just give up. Lol

I wish I could give you a definite answer, even living here there's no guarantee what the weather will do. Today it was 85 but right now it's closer to high 50's. When you factor in a breeze/wind and 50 degree weather with the moisture it's going to be chilly.

I've lived in FL for almost 50 years, and have never known any weather forecast that meant a hill of beans more than 48 hours out at best.

Here's what I want to know: where does everybody live where meteorologists can accurately predict chance of rain/snow/sleet 2 weeks away? One week even? (I'll remove rainforests, deserts, and Seattle from consideration since those are pretty easy for anyone to predict year-round.) ;)

yep and Florida is even worse

Have there been any rumblings about what overall effects El Niño will have on the weather around WDW? I've seen a few models that show cooler and wetter over the winter, but they keep reformulating the models and I'm not seeing anything more current than July...

What mesaboy2 said.... we have visited many years in early December and it never seemed to be "normal". Mostly what we remember are the colder than normal days. Which was usually accompanied by folks saying something like "Boy, it usually isn't this cold in December." Thankfully we packed for possible extremes and had some cool weather clothes with us.

As BigAlsGal said, they shouldn't try and predict it. We too experienced drastic shifts in predictions during our trips.

I have seen the NOAA 3 month projections showing normal temperature and wetter than normal for the southeast:

Can you extrapolate numbers for a specific week from those charts? Of course not. As DebbieB said, expect anything.

Have a magical trip!
